  1. Cj, two log files attached. The 4;40;58 is at various throttle positions. The second log fie I changed the injector timing. Same results. Log 2019-11-29 4;40;58 pm.llg Log 2019-11-29 4;49;05 Inj Timing 230 BTDC.llg
  2. Cj, thanks for the reply. You are correct it does idle ok when warm. I post up another log @ 10% throttle when cranking tomorrow. Stay tuned.
  3. EJ25 dyno tuned this summer on E10 (CA 91 Octane) and E98 race ethanol. Cold start maps were not set due to high temps so base values applied. The is a multi fuel car, currently with E98 in it. My attempts to get a good cold start map have been futile and frustrating mostly due experience with E98. Need help with pre crank and crank enrichment table timing and %'s or any other set up that allow me to get it at least running to fine tune. I have fiddled with tuning the pre-crank off and on and fuel % cells and all cold start tables. Engine pops, puffs and barely wants to attempt a start. Visual on the spark plugs indicates fuel getting there, not sure what would be too much with this concentration of ethanol. Any input would be great full. 4. Manual specifies a GM/Siemen or Continental sensors are supported. Is the AEM 30-220 compatible and would this model require an external or use of internal pull up resistor.
  5. What crank wheel trigger tooth count should this configuration have? 36-6? I am counting by feel (7) high sides with 1 full revolution of the crank, I believe that is a 6/7 tooth count? G4+ does not indicate tooth count in HELP or otherwise under Trigger Setup: Subaru EJ25 AVCS, Trigger 1 TYPE Reluctor. 02 EJ25, closed deck, good internals, it had Stock DOHC heads and just installed 06 STI heads with AVCS (intake) . Running a G4+ Fury. No spark while cranking, ignition tests good (wasted spark). The other thing I am noticing is that all Subaru AVCS versions V7-9 and V10 are using direct spark, I dont see why the ignition type would prevent firing so I have narrowed it down crank trigger. However I am considering updating to wasted spark since I have pulled the engine harness to verify all wiring. Please advise tooth count so I can get that changed out.
  6. TRIG 1 is my crank position sensor (2 wire reluctor) and TRIG 2 (3 wire HALL) is the inlet LH cam position sensor and D1 (3 wire HALL) is the RH inlet cam position sensor I am now tripping up on this wiring diagram (3Wire CAS) since it is different than the (HALL Diagram). Currently I have it wired both cam position sensors 8V to the red, TRIG2 or D1 to the WHITE (signal) and BLK to sensor ground GREEN. Is this correct or should the TRIG2- LH inlet cam position sensor be wired as shown in the attachment (3Wire CAS) and which wiring method should be used for the RH Inlet cam position sensor? 7. Ok, so I got the injector power and sensor power (8V) sorted out. on the 4/18 post I referenced the engine set up information I used. If TRIG 1 is my crank position sensor (2 wire reluctor) and TRIG 2 (3 wire HALL) is the inlet LH cam position sensor and D1 (3 wire HALL) is the RH inlet cam position sensor I am now tripping up on this wiring diagram (3Wire CAS) since it is different than the (HALL Diagram).
  8. Never mind, I figured it out. I understand now. Early Ej20 did have a reluctor sensor along with the hall's for cam angle sensors.
  9. In the CAL Tables I am not seeing an AFR undeUnit selection.
  10. Thanks Brad. I got most of what your saying. What's vr? Presumably reluctor type CAS, not familiar with early EJ20'S. And in the engine info attached it shows trig2/optical hall LH inlet so this is how I have wired with RH hall to DI1. Is that correct?
  11. A little about my set up. G4+ Fury Stand Alone, EJ25 closed deck, 8.5:1 compression,MY 06 STI Heads, AVCS Inlet only, Stage 2 Crower Cams, closed loop system, 83lb injectors, E85 Ethanol, Hurrican Benita Turbo with boost control. Want to confirm the following: In the Engine Configuration Tab under the Help Menu for the Subaru G4+ Extreme Plug-In WRX/STI V10 EJ25 AVCS Specs it shows the configuration of the Trig2-LH Inlet Optical sensor and D1-RH Inlet Optical sensor. The reason for my question is that the EJ20 with AVCS variable inlet cams has both optical cam angle sensors wiring to D1 and D2. Confirm that wiring the LH inlet CAS to Trig 2 and RH inlet CAS to D1 is correct for my application. Can I use Aux Output 6 as a high side drive 12V source for the injectors? Im thinking this should come from fused source off the fuse block? Was wired direct into G1V5 12V source to ECU. Can I use Aux Output 7 as a high side drive 12V source to the AVCS solenoids as long as they are 7 ohms or more in resistance a draw not more than 2A? Can I use AUX Output 8 as a high side drive 12V source to the Optical Hall CAS? . If yes to any of the above what function should be used. If no please advise where to obtain source voltage. Also would the base set for the WRX/STI V10 be a good staring point for ECU settings, fuel and ignition map just to get a starting point with minimal tweak on configuration of settings etc.?
  12. Seen that too. Gonna leave my o2 sensor on the SCG1 and use its analog out to an AN input, its not even a year old. If it ever fails I'll replace with LSU 4.9 and wire to internal o2 input. Thanks Adam.
  13. Makes sense, there is a resistor module on my 02 connector, is that what the (RE) on pin 14 Loom B circuit is for?. Yes, you are correct there are only 5 wires on my O2 sensor connector and further research has revealed it is an LSU 4.2. Is this compatible with G4+ Fury
