  1. Hi guys. im a newbie when it comes to tuning and recently got my car done. My tuner has unfortunately got personal matters to attend to therefore cannot assist me for a few months. I don’t think there’s anything fundamentally wrong with the tune, but since driving it on the road with different load cases, issues have shown themselves. Basically in 3rd gear sometimes 4th, the car will Rev to about 5k rpm then randomly jolt forward cause it cuts fuel and ignition (can see this active on the log files). i also noticed the knock count increases and can clearly see where it exceeds the threshold on a few cylinders. The thing is - it’s not consistent on one cylinder - it’s completely random and I can’t really induce the issue repeatedly. My tuner tried lowering the boost from 1.6 bar to 1.4 but didn’t help. I’m running stock 2jz knock sensors (between 2 and 3, 5 and 6). Can see in the knock settings it’s set to retard 1 degree per % - and there is max 3 degrees. Does this mean the knock is so loud it’s just blown past the max percentage? I’m starting to think it’s false knock as I have the e46 m3 box which is noisy af, but not sure how I can listen to the engine audio using the link software.   2. Just looking for some guidance on a base map for the car. In a week or 2 I will be installing x6 2jzgte VVTI coils on my NA-T . It's 2jzge-t currently with a distributor, has single turbo I will be using cam sensor trigger kit and Gte oil pump with crank sensor with 2JZGTE crank gear, latest-edit.pclr
  3. hi all im having issues setting up my link on my 2jzge , am using stock 2jzge dizzy as cam position and have swapped to turbo oil pump for the crank angle sensor. issue im having is i cant seem to set base timing , test light wont work due to no spark but has perfect spark under test function?

So im unable to get the car to run properly on this ecu and any help would be appreciated. we can get the car to start with an updated map sent from xcessive but it is misfiring and I have no clue why. I testing the injectors and they all fire with the test. so if anyone can help that would be awesome. is300 2002.pclr
  5. just bought a link ecu g4+ and was going through start up guide. MY build is 2jzge- turbo Supra JDM 1993 , map sensor calibrated, tps not calibrated (wiring issues). when i crank the engine there is no spark from main coil going to distributor cap. Originally running a piggyback system with the Aristo 2JZGTE ecu which was running fine, unplugged earlier today, current ignition module is rewired to work with distributor because the 2jzGTE uses COP instead of distributor (old setup). In the ignition settings neither direct spark or distributor have any spark. also unsure about what trigger setup to use, when cranking trigger signal status 1 is on/active Was previously running fine before installing new ecu
  6. i am looking for a ecu to run my 1998 lexus gs300 with automatic transmission and has the 2jzge vvt-i fitted. i have turbo'ed this engine using a gt35 turbo and i am going to be forging it and running stage 3 brian crower cams so i need an ecu that will run a 2jz with vvt-i and a auto gearbox if anyone can give any guidance, thank you.
