  1. Hey i have an altezza here that is plus t the car is originally a 1g auto shell and has a 3sge manual engine and loom therefore the facotry narrowband plug is apart of the body loom if it was a 3s manual car, but 1g have their 02 sensors as apart of their engine loom, therefore i dont want to go hacking into the ecu plug to splice in the wires for the narrowband id rather just go to a wideband, is it really worth buying the can lamda kit and the can extension cable, or could i buy a cheaper alternative say a windeband kit that comes with the guage and controller and use the 0-5v output to tell the ecu what afr im at, its probably about 700 for the link can lamda or about 400 for a aem one, i do also see that haltech have their vrsion of the link can lamda would that be compatable Thanks

    2GR-FE Idle Help

Hiya all - I'm hoping someone is able to help me here. I'm trying to get my car to idle well again ( it last ran on the g4+ ) but ever since switching from the g4+ to g4X I've not been able to get a stable idle. I've since sold that ecu but If I were to plug it in now and power the car on - the idle would be great. So I'm wondering - what am I missing? I'll attach the gt4+ calibration and my current calibration. I logged for a few hours trying different thing today. What I'm really trying to iron out is getting the idle and low rpm/low load revving down so that my transmission controller (HTG GCU) can do it's learning process fully. At present if try to give the car any throttle it essentially just misfires. At idle even, it sounds as if there is a misfire. There was one point where both lambdas matched the target.. but this ' misfire ' condition persisted. While I await a smoke tester, anything stand out here? Anything I have misconfigured perhaps? I've checked for exhaust leaks, vaccum leaks etc so short of the smoke tester I'm not sure. I don't believe it's the cams as when vvt is on - they are fine and even with vvt off - this issue persists. I've compared what i could tell that's different from my G4+ map to this g4X map and i really don't see what it could be. In CL Lambda - this issue kind of switches around but one bank or the other will l basically hunt target AFR to Max/Min Clamp. IF I raise or lower the clamp ( respectively ) - the corresponding lambda sensor just hunts in that direction until it hits the new max/min. Any help would be greatly appreciated - getting a bit desperate at this point and this forum always seems to come through for me... Thank you! I still dont seem to be able to attach files over 25kb so i've put the log and cal files in this google drive with the 5/22 date. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1vW4s2359l4TvHrfpu_UTqQQR-OXciB3d?usp=sharing I have also tried offsetting the base cal by 360, -360, 180 and -180. The car won't even start. 0 is where base timing is set and that's where the timing light matches the mark on the crank.
  3. Im about to do my cop conversion on my turbo lsvtec setup using a pluginx g4x . I am using K20 coil , I know where I need to wire my 4 coils to the ecu , ground and switched 12V source . But , Is there any simple method to wire the rpm ? Can I let it plug in on the ICM to make it work like normally ? Thanks -Sam

    E36 pnp no start

Okay so I have an m52 converted obd1 with a pnp link. It cranks but doesn’t start. Injectors are firing fuel. Coil packs don’t seem to fire. I can go into settings and fire each coil pack separate along with injectors. I calibrated map and tps. I noticed I have no rpm signal when cranking and I’m assuming that’s why the coils aren’t firing. Now my cams are degreed and I running 800cc injectors. I wouldn’t think that my problem but who knows. I’m currently running the off the self basemap the ecu comes with.
  5. Hi guys just got all my ecu wired in and am on the hunt for a base map for start up to check for leaks and diagnostics before sending it to the tuners, just wondering if anyone would have a base map file they could send me for a 1jz vvti with bw sxe369 turbo, 1650cc Bosch injectors, 044 lift and 2x walbro 525 feeds, just need something that will allow me to run car up to operating temp to check for leaks ect ect have all sensors connected showing all values as they should be aswell so if anyone has a base file that they could possibly send me that would be awesome cheers lads
  6. Hi guys, Hope you are all safe i am trying to setup my rpm limit and als an launch on my M50b29 Turbo engine is capable of 600-900hp running on normal fuel at the moment with three modes 0.8bar/1.3bar/1.8bar ill go into each issue on its own, if anyone can help me set it up i attached my file (i made the tune from scratch so anyone wanting to copy anything from it i do not suggest that cz u might blow up ur engine) -Rpm Limit: the way it is setup now the rpm limit sounds fast while stationary , but the issue is when im driving and i hit rpm limit i don't know if i reached it cz the rpm holds steady at the limit but the engine sounds normal without any noticable cuts or bangs or anything so its very confusing for me to know when i reach rpm limit how i prefer it is like a small bangs that won't make me lose lots of power and stall and keeps the engine reving up and banging so i can notice it -Antilag : the way it is now when i lift my foot off from a full throttle it will bang maybe once or twice loud bangs and sometimes quiet bangs but in all cases on a gear shift i lose all boost and loose all power and have to wait for the turbo to spool again i don't want anything that sounds good rather i want something that performs well i want to keep at least 0.5 bar after a gear shift -launch: the way it is now once i push the button i rev the engine up to around 4k and i can feel and hear the retard spooling the turbo and hear it wistle but i don't see any boost and when i let go of the clutch and depress the button i have no boost and the engine starts spooling from 0 bar -i want to have at least 0.5bar of boost before i can launch with a little bang perhaps whoever can help out or has a file that works that i can read and try to learn form it or try it is much appreciated Thanks in advance, M50B29 E30M3_V2.pclr
  7. I'm just in the process of putting the finishing touches on my WRX and I'm going to need an IAT sensor. I have a spare 1/8 inlet on my manifold post TB, or I think I can weld an aluminium IATB boss into my TMIC endtank? Just trying to work out what my best option is cause it seems like IATB is the best move, but I'm not exactly sure where to mount it. TIA
  8. Hello there, I am still working on my Carisma GDI Turbo. I was at the dyno again today, and well… My Lambda needed some correction ( I was nearly at 0.7 A/F Ratio during higher load). But even after correction, the engine is not performing verry well. Coud any of you look over my ignition Timing? The engine got 12:1 compression, 5psi of slight boost, and I got massive pover loss over 3500 rpm, the boost pressure is stable. Maybe my ignition timing is set to late…? I use IK22 sparkplugs with reduced gap (set to 0.5mm). These are quite cold plugs. Fuel corr. 1.2 20052019 16_10 Automatik.llg Fuel corr. 1.2 20052019 16_10 Automatik.pclr
  9. Hi Guys, i have a 2JZ-GTE swapped Altezza running a Link G4+ Fury and i am looking to run an MR2 electric power steering pump. i have talked to my certifier and he will not allow it to be directly plugged into a power supply as it must go through a 'controller' so that the pump is in a 'controlled environment'. which after some reading is it possible to use my Fury to control this in any way? obviously my gearbox speed sensor is plugged into the ecu aswell as my seperate sensors on my wheels, would the link fury pick this up and be able to control the pump? hopefully this helps. Cheers Mike
  10. Hello Guys, Im new to the Forum I got couple questions for the PRO's In this room > I have a 2JZ VVTI Customized Engine ( A to Z ) 3.4 L I have 2 MAPS im going to attach, Both are working perfect, Lucky for the 2jz vvti Car owners, They can use my map's ( Im Not responsible about any damage to you car ) Ok I tuned my car in 2 different Engineers And im not sure which one is right, both tuned the car Ignition and fuel table, I need to make sure the value's Of the Ignition and fuel are correct. I have the following setup 750 cc Bosh Injectors with 4 Bar Fuel Pressure Single Turbo dual bearing set at 1.8 BAR starts @ 2500 RPM Using 98 Octane Fuel Off course the biggest intercooler , AKS dump valve , External WAsteGate, MONSON ECU Appreciate Your thoughts and advice the car is running great but not perfect, i know there is something wrong with the ignition and fuel Holding the car power back, i know i can get much more power Of such engine I set my AFR to 13.7 2jz-1.pclr 2jz-1-extreme.pclr
  11. I am tuning Subaru STI 2011 with G4+ Fury. EJ207 Turbocharged engine. I am planning to add a intake air temperature sensor to my car. In the PCLink help, it says that Bosch 0 280 130 085 is recommended for turbocharged vehicles. I can see that Air Temperature Sensor (IATB) looks similar to this sensor. I already have a 1/8" NPT mounting boss in my car so Air Temp Sensor (IAT1-8) could be easier to install. I found that Bosch 0 280 130 085 's thermal time constant is around 5sec. But I couldn't find the thermal time constant value for IAT1-8. Is IAT1-8 is fine for turbocharged vehicles? Or should I use the IATB? http://dealers.linkecu.com/Products/temperature Best regards.
  12. i am looking for a ecu to run my 1998 lexus gs300 with automatic transmission and has the 2jzge vvt-i fitted. i have turbo'ed this engine using a gt35 turbo and i am going to be forging it and running stage 3 brian crower cams so i need an ecu that will run a 2jz with vvt-i and a auto gearbox if anyone can give any guidance, thank you.
  13. hey guys just been tuning plenty vl turbos with the link vl plug in Ecu with great success I am currently in the process of changing fuels to e85 and would like to know how to do this.the car is currently tuned on 98pulp and is making 220rwkw atw and is automatic now would I change my injector deadtimes and retune the whole fuel map or would I add fuel with the fuel main and leave the deadtimes the way they are for e85 any help much appreciated
  14. Hi I hope someone can help me. Car is old vw beetle and i try to get more than 500bhp out of it. Had struggles past 3 years, but i really hoped to join my friends next weekend for my first dragrace. On the dyno, with load, the car is "buggering" or misfires. My "dynoguy" says there is not clean enough trigger signal, so the ecu does not now exactly were crank position is and misfires. I have tried 3 different triggerweel setups with VR sensors, and had several dyno attempts, also rerouted the shilded trigger cable so its far away from power wires. I have a friend with same type V44 and i borrowed his ecu last night, but could not hear any approvements or see any on the log. I have log files if someone could look at them. My "Dynoguy" also told me to log RPM-rate, so i did. But was this data mean? I really hoping for help. Edit: I Have attached engine map and log from yesterday. Just started it on trailer. min-ecu-Log 9-08-17 9;24;20 pm.llg Turboroadster-09-08-2017.pcl
