  1. Hi as titled, does anyone know if the calibration is same as the previous b series cts? Or which cal drop down to use if not? Seem to be having weird overheating issues but its not boiling the coolant, spitting it etc and been like it since install so wondering if I've potentially got the cal wrong and its reading the wrong temp.

    Thanks for your time,

    Greg

  2. I'm not overally confident there is a problem, I'm thinking more sensor issue  unless its supposed to stay at a rock solid rate?

Like how can it drop 10psi of fuel pressure in less than half a second? It'll go from 43-33-43 all with in half a second and only sometimes at that too.

Its also got a 6 months odd old 255lph fuel pump, new fuel filter and new radium fuel rail and regulator so id like to hope its all in check

  3. Wondering if someone can help.
I've always used traditional fuel set up but now in modelled. But my fuel pressure looking at logs seems to fluctuate a bit (literally looking at a log zoomed in it could read 43psi and over half a second itll go 33psi (extreme) and back to 43psi again all with in half a second) not sure if this is normal or the sensor but it seems to be screwing with the pulse width around these times and making it a bit of a pita. Is there any way to compensate/resolution for this or shall I bite the bullet and go back to traditional?

  4. Just bumping this, is the vtec supposed to be high driver type or low do you know? My b series was low i've checked on my b series map and i've got 2 calibrations for k series and 1 is listed as low side and the other high side

  5. Trying to get my K24 running nicely, it keeps randomly cutting out and i've done a log and it seems to think it randomly does 25000rpm where it stalls and comes up with rev limit activated. the other log shows it hunting and i can't seem to smooth it out, it has no iacv so the throttle plate is opened on the idle screw but it sounds as if its cammed and its same trying to hold revs too it'll hunt up and down.

Map is only a basemap which i've tried to make out of the best i found on here (should of adapted my b series one really, it would of been easier)

The map is a few days old, I'm not with the car right now to plug in to retrieve it from the ecu but can do this later.

  6. Finally got my car running today, I'm using a pnp civic 95 link g4+ to run the k24.

I've wired the vtc solenoid to AUX3 which is pin A15, originally for a/c clutch

The vtc is 2 wire and the other wire goes to earth. I've tried testing the signal with laptop and it will be 12v normal on VVT cam solenoid

Test (pwm) it will drop down to around 5v or so fluctuating and test (on) will go to 0v

To me this seems the wiring is correct and maybe its the vtc solenoid? I'm going to try a friends tomorrow but any pointers and ideally If the wiring is correct as ive described?

    Thanks

  7. I'm just in the process of starting up my honda k24 engine, the basemap I've got is for modelled fuel where as my old b series was always traditional. Is it a worthwhile upgrade? What requirements do I need to use modelled and whats the benefits over traditional?

  8. Just bumping this, in process of repinning a k20 loom into obd1 plugs to suit my ecu currently (quickest way for me to get back on circuit atm)

I'm a bit stuck on how to wire the crank/cam sensors where the b series has dizzy. I've attached the pinout for obd1 ecu, on the b plug it says about P side and M side, what does this mean and how do I wire it?

I think everything else i have sussed

  9. As title, I've blown the honda b18 motor again so I'm done with them. Looking to put a later k20 engine in now. I've currently got a PnP civic link 95, can I use this ok on the k20? Obviously I know ill need to suit the k20 loom to obd1 ecu plugs but other than that all ok?

  10. Just to bump this, i updated the firmware on the dash which got me rpm working but still have no pressures. No fuel or oil pressure.

I have x2 link 150psi sensors for these via 2 analog inputs on the expansion plug. Would this effect getting the readings over to the dash2?

  11. No ccf file, not sure what that is or how id obtain one?

Honestly I haven't a clue, at my whits end with it. A dash of this price range shouldn't be so difficult to set up.

I've tried seeking advice from them but replies are very slow and don't seem to be moving forward with it
