  1. Hi All, I have a Link G4+ WRX V5/V6 and need some help. I own a UK spec Subaru Impreza GC8 V5 Turbo 2000 and am fitting a V7 STI block with V4 STI Heads into it. This block and head combination came out of a V4 Impreza where it was working great. I am using a V4 manifold but all the existing parts from my V5 including throttle body which I have retrofitted and is simply plug and play with the cars electronics. Now I have asked someone online about compatibility and have been told that the problem will be that the cam gear for timing underneath the oil filler has a different configuration on the V4 than the V5. I don’t quite understand this nor do I know if it’s true as the engine was working in a V4. Is there a difference in cam gear between the V4 and V5? If so how do I modify my previously professionally mapped G4 + ECU to recognise the difference in the cam gears whilst keeping the existing electrical setup of the V5? Many Thanks
  2. Thanks for your response Adam. I have a GC Classic 99 Turbo non WRX. I will look for the MAP sensor. The hose I still physically have a Lambda connected from Stock but I dont know if the ECU was tuned with it in mind. How would I check this? Can it be the Lambda also? Thanks
  3. I think this image shows the earlier models. Mine is 99-00 which has a MAF sensor from Stock. Perhaps an aftermarket MAP has been installed near the throttle body on mine. I will take a look at this. If you look at my log, you can see that it is getting a voltage of 2.26V. Does that mean it is working? Also looking at my Lambda sensor readings, what can you see? Thanks
  4. It is a Turbo. Was working fine just randomly started. There is a pipe just hanging but there is no where to connect it to?
  5. Hi Adam, Thanks for your reply. I was told it is a MAP/MAF less tune?
  6. Hi I have my check engine light on my car. My vehicle is idling rough below 1000RPM. I have a MAF less tune set up. It suddenly stopped accelerating past a few thousand revs I plugged my link cable in and ran the program. It displayed 1 fault code which was An V3 At Ground. I cleared this code and it never reappeared but the check engine light flag is still set to on when running the program. I have attached my log file on idle and you can see me revving it. Does anyone know what this could mean and if swap my ECU for the original would the original still work and show me the faults? Thanks Log 2018-07-19 10;47;13 pm.llg
