Hey, Im sorry to revive this thread but to OP, i will be building the same engine and i need some info: Can you please give me some info on your setup? Do you have the ECU as standalone or in parallel to OEM one? Is your dash working? Also AC and all the gauges?

G4 Storm ECU couple of questions

Hello guys, This is my first post and im looking for some help. I have purchased an used ECU and was told that it should be connected in parallel with my OEM ECU but the loom that it came with looks like standalone application(picture attached). I have 1zz-fe that im going to turbo in a year and would like to have the dash/AC and gauges work. Anybody used the ECU with this engine or any other toyota and got the dash working? Another question is: What is the easiest way to check if the ECU work?
