  1. Would it be better setting up as a digital or analogue system as the knob can do both.
  2. Hi Adam. Thanks for your reply. I am looking at getting the S1 sequential load cell gearknob. Seems quite good for the money. https://www.s1sequential.com/product/load-sensing-gear-knob/ This with the link should be able to see difference in upshifts/downshifts based on throttle position.
  3. Hi guys. I have a H pattern dog box that I want to use a strain gauge on for flat up shifting. Can something like the geartronics knob (analogue) be used on the ecu, or does it need a digital switch type system? And can the ECU be set to cut ignition on 100% full throttle up shifts and no cut on say 10% and under downshifts?
  4. So just run it as normal and record the log?
  5. Ok thanks. Annoyingly it doesn’t do it all the time so I will have to wait for the problem to appear and make sure I have my laptop with me.
  6. Hi guys. I have a fury ecu, and recently it has been doing something quite weird! every so often, whether the car is fully warmed or warming up, a kind of rev limiter comes on and won’t let me rev the car above 2-3k and it varies in revs. Im pretty sure it’s an ignition cut as it stinks of fuel when it’s on. The only way I can describe it, is as if the rev limiter has been set to a random RPM between 2-3k as it varies. If you blip the throttle it won’t clear and if you plant the throttle it also won’t clear. I’ve tried turning the ignition off and on again, and also disconnecting the battery to reset it but none of this helps. It then decides to clear itself and won’t do it again for a while, then next time I drive the car it starts again but not every time. Examples are: i was waiting in the pit lane to go out on track recently. Was idling fine then when I went to pull away there’s a misfire again up until 2500rpm or so. I got stuck in the paddock, drove it back to the pits and sat there for a while idling it and then it cleared and didn’t come back. Another time was when I was driving down the motorway, no problem at all until I pulled off down towards a roundabout, went to pull away and BANG it was there again until it decided to disappear. I do have launch control enabled but with a 3500 (I think at least) rev limiter, 3 sec initiation and 30% load throttle so I’m 90% sure it’s not that although I haven’t turned it off in the software completely which is what I may try next. Any help/suggestions would be great. Thanks!
  7. Thanks for your help. Would -10 degrees ABSOLUTE be a good place to start for a turbo car?
  8. also, is the launch ignition trim a - (minus) figure or not?
  9. Ah ok. What does that do? I know there’s a help file but I’m no ok my laptop.
  10. Thanks for all your help guys. Fitted a inline pressure switch from my hydraulic handbrake and it switches the program on and off in the ecu with an earth no problem. Only thing now is, it says 'active' and i have set launch at 1500 rpm for testing but it revs straight past. Have started a new topic here: http://forums.linkecu.com/topic/9048-help-required-setting-up-launch-control-on-my-fury/
  11. Hi guys, so i have fitted a inline brake switch from my hydraulic handbrake and wired it on Di2 ans it switches the launch control program on and off no problem at all (well the status changes anyway). The only thing is, it doesnt do anything at all when enabled. I set the revs to 1500RPM for testing, but it just revs straight past. Anyone got some base settings i can try or i have forgotten to change a setting in the ECU. Have attached some pics of the ecu status and my settings. Thanks in advance
  12. Im on e throttle if that makes any difference?
