    Speaking of your intake bleed suggestion, I just remembered that the GCU has a “DBW mod” that can modify the PPS on shifts too, something I imagine could help bleed intake pressure if set up correctly. If that doesn’t get me all the way there maybe a combo with your suggestions will do it.

  2. Okay, so I need some help on a few things, I've played around within my comfort zone but need some outside help at this point :)

    I am trying to dial in launch control on my DCT R32 GTR.

    I have launch RPM set to 5500RPM with ign trim set to -20 & activation at 5300RPM. I am only building up ~6PSI of boost on launch. I've tried -15, -25, even -30 and they all produce the same results. I would like to build 15PSI at time of launch, I am not sure why it's stopping here.

    Secondly, since after swapping from manual to DCT I will hit MAP limit after almost every shift, we are cutting ign on shifts but boost still spikes after shifts. I tried lowering the target boost and then setting map limit to my old target and it seemed to help a bit for the first and sometimes second gear change but eventually we still hit MAP limit.

    I've attached the current map and a log of a launch and pull. Also, in this log it only shows map limit reached twice, but looking at the data it should have flagged it 4 times.

  3. Alright, I tried lowering the suggested cold correction values to 1.0(map attached), it was better but definitely not fixed. I played with the 1000-1500 clamp values but seemed like if I went too low with it, it would be worse, and lowering it in small numbers didn't seem do too much. I also reset this to the out of the box enrichment values I've seen posted in another thread which seemed to make it worse.

    Here are some logs and the last map I tried.

    I may just try scheduling a road tune with my tuner, I'd just hate to spend the $$ if it's something simple.

  4. I appreciate the insights. No ITB's, I am on a single throttle (Bosch 82mm on large Plazmaman manifold). I didn't change the sens value(or anything else) between logs.

    I have two large e-fans that turn on at 175F(80C) - while driving I never really hit this temp - only at idle really. But when they do kick in they basically drop the temp down 165F(73C) very quickly, so the car basically lives in the 73-80C range. I'll lower these values down to 1.0 as suggested and drop clamp from there if needed!

    For throttle control, what would generally cause it to overshoot like this? Any suggestions on what to look for here?

  5. I am having issues accelerating from a stop in first gear. If I gently ease into the throttle, I can get it to pull away fairly smooth - however that's annoying and not the purpose of the car lol. If I want to accelerate more aggressively from a stop it's pretty rough - the more throttle I give it the more it will bog down.

    The car is an 800HP R32 GTR running on ethanol - so idle isn't the best as is but it's fairly tame. I have it set at 1000 and CL keeps it around 980-1020. Car drives great and pulls hard otherwise. 

    The car does have a BMW GS7 DCT gearbox. I am using HTG GCU and running closed loop take up and shifting strategies, I've spent countless hours playing with the strength and anti-stall tables in the GCU thinking the issue was on that side, but I am now starting to think maybe the issue is on the ECU side of things.

    I tried playing with the neutral/park step, I initially set this to 2% and it just caused RPMs to continuously climb, CL idle settings seemed to just override anything less than this after a couple of seconds.

    I've attached my current map and a couple log files starting in 1st gear so you can see what's happening. If anyone has any ideas or sees anything that sticks out let me know!

    Note: last part of the second log I did light acceleration to show smoothness.

  6. I updated firmware and ethanol % is working now, thanks!

    I moved speed and trans temp to a different ID and I am now able to pick up the speed and assign it to a driven wheel. It’s coming through as a decimal (2.5kph vs 25kph) - I imagine I should be able to just x10 somehow.

    I am not sure what to assign the transmission temp to though, this should come through as a value in Celsius.

    "Boost" is "MGP" in the ecu and dash.  

    Your HTG CAN setup doesnt look suitable, you are trying to send 10 bytes of data on ID 73a, you need a max of 8 per ID.  It looks like you only have 1 byte being sent on ID 7a so move some of the others to that ID would be the best option.  

    If you attach the HTG config I can take a look.

    Thanks - here is a HTG config file (I removed my attempts of adding VSS and Temp) - HTG set all of the other CAN outputs up during the initial remote tuning session, so I would leave those be.

  8. I have most of what I need in AIM - but need help getting a few more pieces of data over and troubleshooting some others.

    • Ethanol %. This is currently coming through the stream, but it doesn't display a value. I can see the value in Link.
    • Boost (PSI)
    • Vehicle Speed. I am using a BMW DCT, and the software to control the transmission (HTG) can calculate vehicle speed, I believe I have the CAN output set right on the HTG side (See photo, LMK if I need to change any values). But I don't know how to see this in Link, let alone pass it through over to the dash. The value from HTG should come over as a number in KPH.
    • Transmission Temp. Same as above - I have a CAN output in HTG for trans temp. Need help getting this to Link and then AIM.

    Appreciate any help! I've attached my map and aim config. Let me know if you need anything else.
