For a road car i would be quite happy to stick with what you have. Sequential Vs Group fire/wasted spark: seq may be able to achieve a slightly smoother idle, maybe slightly better fuel economy (<5%). Sequential/direct spark also means you can adjust fuel or ignition on individual cylinders, but you rarely see that done anyhow.
Great, thanks so much, I appreciate your answers.

Thanks for the reply. I asked my technical guy to translate it for me and he seemed to under stand. Me not so much!
Would I still be better off to sell the one I have a buy another made for the 6?
Or would that be a waste of money and time?
Advantages and disadvantages would be good to know.
Thanks!

G4+ on a V twin motorcycle engine?

I have a Link G4+ brand new still in box that I bought a couple of years ago to use on an MX5.... but now I am wondering if I can use it on another project?
I am building an Egli (spine) framed old style 1970's style sports bike using a 2009 1634cc Victory air and oil cooled, SOHC, four valve per cylinder, 50 degree V twin engine. They are fuel injected from the factory. Any reason why the G4+ would not work on it???? The original open loop ECU has a few running issues, mostly related to emissions in the USA that need fixing, and replacing it all together might be a better option in the long run.
Thoughts???
Thanks
Gavin
