  1. found this.. anyone used one on the g4 series of ecu,s? https://www.holley.com/products/nitrous/controllers_and_accessories/parts/15620NOS
  2. Been asking around forums and getting mixed answers.. Im getting ready to do my engine build and im thinking of things i can do before the car goes in to get the engine taken out and the work begins .I was thinking of getting Frenchie's performance in tank baffle kit(https://frenchysperformancegarage.com/products/nissan-skyline-r32gt-r-in-tank-surge-tank-kit) running a walbro 450 as the lift pump and a 525 as the main feed.. then running -8 lines feed and return to A radium fuel rail and matching Fpr.. I want to do this with the stock ecu and still drive the car around until it time to drive it to where the build will start.. it currently is running 270rwkw on 15psi with a flashed stock ecu and steel wheel exhaust turbines.. being the only mods Anyone see a problem doing this? ( i would bypass the factory fuel controller and just run the 2 fuel pumps through 2 dedicated relays triggered by the ecu. once i install A G4x ill have the option to run a fuel pump controller.. do many people do this ? or just let the pumps run full tilt all the time? Cheers! for any input.
  3. so is there any Air intake sensors (faster than factory) that can be used with the oem ecu and then still be used with the link gtr g4x plugin ecu? https://www.nzefi.com/products/sensors-and-solenoids/temperature-sensors/
  4. ??? diagram says pin 7 fuel pump + ? why would the fpcm need 2 power sources?
  5. You've lost me :-> if fuel pump is already getting power from the relay why would it also need power from pin 7 on the fpcm? i understand the fpcm needs power form pin 5 but pin 7 feeding the pump when it already has power form the relay? appreciate the replys too ...
  6. Shield? what does a shield do? from what is see when the ignition is turned on the relay supplys power to pin 2 on the fuel pump.. if thats the case why does it also get power from pin 7 on the control unit? ir am i just confused?
  7. actually if i get rid of the factory module ill have aux 6,1 and 2 free? also trying to sus the factory module what role is pin 6 having? if 4 is ground?
  8. HI All Just wondering if there is an adaptor that would be considered in the future that could go in place of a car cigarette lighter socket with a standard female usb slot similar to the one below, but the end would fit in a cigarette lighter socket hole then all u would need is a double ended male usb cable to connect to a laptop
  9. 1600cc on my r32 gtr (after its build) wanting to run 700rwhp been told 1000cc would be enough but thought for headroom ill use something bigger..?
  10. Is there any disadvantage running oversized injectors so long ecu is mapped to compensate?
  11. Got Ya! Might just wire in the lift and main pump bu themselves and see how much they can handle leave the 3rd inactive until things start looking lean.. That being the case shall i run the pump relays straight to the battery, then use pins 104 and 106 from the ecu to ground the relay to switch them on, and just bypass the fuel pump modulator all together?
  12. yeah i was more concerned about the extra heat generated at idle in 3-+ deg in summer idling.. not worried about the noise really 30+deg so going back to the initial diagram of the factory controller.. if i bin it totally.. what is the best way to utilize the triggers available without it. i want to run one lift pump ,a main pump and a secondary pump to come on at 70/80 % full throttle linkG4x plugnplay GTR
  13. REVISIT AS IM NOW ACTUALL Y GETTING CLOSER TO MY BUILD would it be easier to bypass the factory fuel controller all together?
  14. so the r33 pickup will work with the link g4x ecu plug and play?
  15. Hey Ive been thinking about getting this dash for my upcoming build..But because it is a street car It will need to get its speed data from another source other than the GPS.. is there an adaptor for the r32 gtr than the ecu can read the gearbox speed sensor to output to this dash?
  16. can this be used in factory setup (factory ecu) as well as g4 ecu,s?
  17. What Do u recommend a suitable unit would be on a rb26 700hp build would b to replace the factory sensor? using the g4x gtr plugin ecu.
  18. HI All Just watched this seems that there could be good real world differences if that is the case so thinking of getting one of the below sensors for a r32gtr g4x plugin ecu.. which would be the best choice? CHeers! https://www.kasensors.com/en/products/air-temperature
  19. hey Guys I currently have the gtr G4+ plugin ecu (hasnt been installed in the car yet) but am wondering if its worth while selling it and upgrading to the G4X plugin ecu? anyone had both and notice and real life differences? I know there are technological differences but are they like computer cpu differences ...ie you only can tell when the cpu is being pushed? or will it make the car more derivable around the street? or you wont tell until u put it the strip or a track? Any opinions? CHeers!
  20. yea sorry fro the confusion yes the aux outputs im talking about.. just been watching some youtube vids on fuel relays ie Goodezilla and he it using highside outputs to trigger his relays..(haltech ecu i believe) just checking that The link isnt the same..
  21. HI Guys Do all the Aux ports only use ground triggers instead or 12v triggers? or it that selectable in the ecu?
  22. if i run 2 control modules (2 fule pumps) i can use pin 6 to activate both relays from the battery to the controllers then use aux1 and aux2 to each controller?
  23. ok and is the setting in the picture of the ecu setup correct for doing this set item as fuel pump?
  24. if i use aux 2 to activate the relay do i connect the wire to the - side or the relay and the positive side (switch) to 12 v or does the aux 2 output 12 v to switch the relay on?
