rayhall got a reaction from DenisAlmos in 2011 Dakar Rally Mitsubishi Pajero
The 2011 Dakar rally is on the 1st January to the 16th January in South America (Argentina and Chile). We have one car fitted with the Vipec V88. This car was built in Hungary. It was tuned by Hrvoje Hictaler (Hic).
Video of the car during testing
Final testing of Mitsubishi Pajero with which we are going to start on Dakar 2010 was done on training ground near Budapest. Testing went very well, the car functioned perfectly and personally I am very satisfied with impovements done on the car since April race in Derecske.
Improvement on the car was primarily done on lightening its weight. The car was tra
nsformed into pick-up and we took off everything that was surplus. These actions resulted with 240 kg lighter car. Additionally, engine was completely reparated and electronic from RallyArt and MagnetiMarelli were replaced with brand new Vi-pec electronic. Besides completely new program was made for engine with 33mm restrictor ( till now 32mm). By doing that we gained some extra power and torque.
This is the driver and navigator.

rayhall got a reaction from Dawood Garage in Common uses for Virtual Aux Outputs?
The virtual aux outputs can be used to control a hardware aux output based on many parameters.
Example you have a hardware aux output setup as a GP Output. This gives you three conditions to control this output. If you need more conditions, then use the output from a virtual output as one of the conditions for the hardware output. This will give to 5 condition.
Example:-
Virtual Aux 1
Condition 1 = TPS > 80%
Condition 2 = ECT > 40 deg
Condition 3 = ECT < 100 deg
Aux 4 (hardware output)
Condition 1 Aux Virtual Value On 1
Condition 2 = MAP > 40 kpa
Condition 3 = Gear > 2
This would turn on Aux 4 output when all these conditions are met.
You can stack up the virtual outputs so you have many many conditions to control some device.
Another common use is for Virtual outputs is turning on the ECU memory logger.

rayhall got a reaction from ST-Autosport in "Toyota Celica" MAP sensor type selection
Jason,
I would just use Cal4-6 and set them this way,
Input Value A = 1.01 volts
Output Value A = 15 kpa
Input Value A = 4.45 volts
Output Value A = 250 kpa
