  1. I read something about there being modifications being available for gtr pnp to run dbw without the need for the external controller to handle driving the throttle body motor. Would you know anything about what that involves. Atleast the 350z pnp board will run dbw natively and I could do that wiring separately from the patch harness I would make to plug into the body side.
  2. Alright thanks for the info. I have had a plug an play g4 gtrlink sitting around for almost 6 years now but with how long this has been an ongoing thing for so long now I ended wanting new.
  3. I just realized that this ecm only has 1 knock sensor. I am assuming running a single knock sensor on a rb26 would be less than ideal.
  4. That wouldn't be issue because I would use those 2 specifically to do the same functions on the patch harness I want to make to handle things on the harness I haven't modified. Everything else such as the throttle pedal, throttle body and a bunch of temperature/ pressure sensors would need to be wired in regardless.
  5. If I had a g4x 350z pnp ecu and wanted to treat it as a wire in ecu for something else is any of I/O not able to changed to do other things as in the hardware is specific on the ecu. It would be to run a rb26 that's been converted to dbw. Would it be compatible with things like the canbus wideband 02?

    Map sensor setup

I am trying to decide on how to setup the MAF sensor on my RB26 that is being converted to DBW with the ITB's deleted and a Bosch throttle body welded to the factory plenum inlet. Would welding a bung for a Bosch 4 bar MAP/IAT sensor to the top of the plenum after the throttle body be alright or would it be better plumbing a MAP sensor into the original vacuum rail and mounting a separate IAT sensor in the cold side charge pipe just before the throttle body. I dont know if it maters but the plan was to upgrade my G4 to a new G4X Xtreme
  7. I am in the middle of a build on my r33 gtr and was wondering if the plugin g4 is able to be setup to pwm control a solid state relay for powering the fuel pump instead of just bypassing the FPCM and wiring the pump to run full jam off a relay at all times or is this a feature only found on a g4+?
