  1. Hi,

Seems this is limited to 3000cc max. Is it possible to increase this limit? Can I apply a 4D table and just increase whole secondary fuel table like 30% as a band aid, or do it with the sec/pri ratio? My secondarys are 3900cc.

    Btw G4X are 5000cc max.

Details about engine. 4 cyl dual fuel with 2 separate fuel systems. Primary running petrol ID2000 and secondary 100% methanol Fueltech 520lb. Will keep it simple and switch between fuels with a simple switch. Either 100% petrol or 100% Methanol. No blend of fuels.

    Thanks

  2. Hi, is it possible to get the a Calibration for turbo speed higher than 10000? An EFR with 14 blade and EFR speed sensor with a 8 divider built in, will only output about 3800hz@130000 rpm, but not possible to get correct because Calibration should be 10500, and software limiting to 10000... Is this correct, or am I missing something?

    Thanks

You would have a junction on the outside of the firewall where the TC wire crimps to the dis-similar metal connector pin, then another similar junction inside the firewall where the socket crimps to the TC wire running to the amp.  The error generated will be proportional to the temperature difference between these two juctions.  It is hard to guess how significant that would be but my guess is probably less than 30°C error at worst.

I have used these type of connectors for EGT's on the firewall of a drag car before:  https://www.servotech.co.nz/products/marlin-connectors/mini-strip-panels/

    Thanks

Maybe I formulated myself bad, but I think to have both sides of the connector in the engine bay, so both female and male connector see the same temperature. Or do you think it will show wrong temp anyway?

  4. Hi, I am runnig several PLX EGT modules and output the 0-5v to my ecu. The egt probes wires goes through the firewall to the PLX modules built in connector. I would like to have a connector at the firewall (engine side) and wonder if it is ok that I cut the egt cable and put a regular connector on it? Some says it is ok as long as the connection have the same temperature, which it have. Some says it will ruin the accuracy... Anyone have experience with this?

    Thanks

  5. Do you have any trigger errors? Does the trigger error counter increase when misfiring? If so, you should try to alter your trigger settings. I use regular, cheap NGK plugs in these engines running 0,60 mm gap. No problem with 500-600 whp running E100 as well.

I use the genuine vw cop plugs with built in igniter. I use these on many, many engines with success. No misfires.

  6. I also installed this ecu recently, and I think it would be a good idea to make a note in "ecu details" and "known issues" that factory traction control wont work. You can save customers/tuners for a lot of hassle letting them know this before buying the ecu.

  7. Hi,

Will this dash work with the G4+?

Have a customer that are switching from Autronic to Link and was hoping his old dash will work with Link ecu. I downloaded the  PCS D200 manual, and couldnt find that the Link ecu are supported...

    Thanks

  8. Hi!

I cant figure to get the fans working... Regarding the manual, fan control are via CAN. I have setup CAN 2 as 350Z/G35 and have fan 1 and 2 setup as virtual aux 2 and 3. Under runtime values, virtual 2 and 3 are green and active, but fans arent running. I must have missed something, any ideas? It seems like tacho are via CAN as well, and tacho are working.

    Thanks

  9. Hi, you can make your own base map, but I would speak to your dealer/tuner to help you out. He can help you ie via Team Viewer to setup and see everything working, setup trigger offset (you must connect a timing light to cyl 1 and communicate with the tuner regarding timing offset) etc...

Should be able to do it yourself also, but you must read and understand the excellent help manual in PCLink software and do it yourself.

  10.
Hi, I tried to send to tech support, but got errors because too big pictures. Trying here:)
Brand new ecu and not able to connect. The 4.jpg picture is the first message I got when I tried to connect with ecu. Tried with firmware upgrade and not able to upgrade firmware. Find Link usb in devices. Tried with disconnecting Ecu connector and waiting a couple of minutes while rebooting laptop. Any idea? See screenshot:
    Thanks
