  1. No I dont, but I believe the rods are the weakest point.
  2. Running both pump gas and E85. 581whp/670nm @1.9 bar boost Dieselblock with H-profil rods og and JE pistons. Vi-PEC V88 running on the stock 135T trigger. 5 VAG coil on plug Portet head. Garrett 4094R 1.06 800+ hp (a bit overkill for the current hp level...) Stock wastegate. 3" exhaust. Furans Race intake w/70mm throttlebody. 120 lb injectors
  3. No 14V out. You must wire a relay to an output.

    Boost Control

Maybe you can mount a wheel speed sensor on the non-driven axle(if the wheels are touching ground with that low 60-foot...) and span y-axis in boost table as speed and increase boost as speed increases?
  5. Very impressive  Heading for the 7`s soon I hope
  6. I have seen similiar issues in a Volvo with 60-2. Switching the polarity of the crank sensor cured it. You can easily try it and see if it helps. It would also be nice to see a scope trace of the crank signal while cranking if it does not help switching polarity.
  7. Hic, you are correct. I have never seen it myself, but I have heard it from a BMW guy that there are a "strange" crank sensor on some cars. If I remember correctly, it is a Siemens sensor. Replacing the sensor will cure it.

    Dual Maps

Yes you can. Go to Fuel-Fuel Corrections-Dual Fuel Table. You can do the same with ignition. Choose which condition when it will become active. ie DI#1 or what you prefer.
  9. Very nice power! What cams are you using and are the head ported? How did you setup so you can use the standard TB controlling idle speed? Ben Stian
  10. Very nice work  Looking forward to see what times this beast will run
  11. I believe I use the same 120lb Lucas disc injectors in my Audi 5 cyl, and have no problems cruising at 15:1. I had the same problems as you when first installed, but lowering the injector deadtimes fixed the problem. Remember you must tweak the fuel map after adjusting deadtimes. BTW very nice power
  12. Looks very good Looking forward to see some 1/4 mile results:)

    V88

If you have Injector Dynamics ID2000 (2200cc) injectors, I believe you will be fine on pump fuel as well. They are very linear regarding low pulswiths. See this link: http://www.injectordynamics.com/ID2000.html I will be using these on my Evo, running both pump fuel and E-85.
  14. "and I would like to also thank my exgirlfriend for dumping me or I would have not completed the build. " LOL Nice build! Looks very, very clean. Post some numbers when finished.

    COP & CDI

I use Denso penzil coils on my EVO with CDI. They are available in different lenghts. You can find them on some Suzuki and Honda Racing bikes.
  16. nrvz Do you have a link to the AIM street version. I can not find it on AIM webpage...
  17. Roman, I do not remember 100% correctly, but I believe the problem was that he had connected 2 coils to each channel on the igniter, instead of connecting 1 coil pr channel. (he used 1 of Bosch 203 igniter instead of using 2 of Bosch 203 igniters) I am 100% sure that you will be very satisfied with the V88
  18. Roman, As I wrote, this car are not completely mapped due some ignition problems, so we had to run with very little boost. You must be careful when putting load on the car. The basemap are meant to get you up and running pretty easy, but you must always be very careful. I do not remember the size of the injectors on the car I sent you basemap from, so I believe you must adjust master fuel to get it running. Also check base timing with a timing lamp. Always use WB and knock listening device when tuning. Hope it helps you get up and running pretty easy
  19. Roman, I dont know much regarding BMW engine codes, but I have some base maps for the Euro BMW E36 325 24V engine which I believe are similar to yours.
  20. Thanks Do I have to buy any cables or software to calibrate/setup the AIM?
  21. Looks nice:) What about fuel level. Does it have a dedicated input or do you have to go via Vi-PEC? What are retail price for the dash you have and do you have a link to it? I could not find the "street" version on the AIM webpage.
  22. Thanks for the input. I still feel the Racepak is more suited for a street car. Does the AIM have high beam, oil pressure, parking brake and turn signal lights?
  23. @ Marcel B Why are you switching from Racepak? I have been looking at Racepak myself, and I think they look pretty good, but it could be nice to hear from one that have used them. You can pm me if you want. Thanks
