  1. I rewired the the cooling system so now the ecu controls the fan rather than the standalone controller, and so it seems better. Here is the the log file. I couldn't really not run the fan but I did disabled the ac stuff as the ac is not connected right now until I know I don't have to do another engine pull. Lol. Let me know what you think. It still hangs by about 100rpm after I blip the throttle but its getting pretty close. The first part of the log is me blipping the throttle with no fan and then blip with fan is on. Thanks again. 2. Ok back. So day one it seemed great and it certainly is a lot better the only thing I am seeing now is that on decel it hangs for for a while before coming down. Log 2020-09-19 3;54;37 pm.llg
  3. Well that worked pretty much perfectly. Thank you very much.
  4. Ok thank you. I will try now.
  5. 1990 nissan 300zxtt. My issue is following. Starts great goes to about 1300 to warm up then comes down nice and smooth to about 900 and it would stay there all day smooth. However if I blip the throttle on decel it will hit between 500-600 and feel like it's about to stall and then it recovers to about 1100 and starts hunting between 1100-900 for a about 30 seconds. Then it becomes more stable around 900 but still a slight hunt 850-950. Now if my electrical fan (not link controlled) kicks in during this time it smooths it right out at 900. once the fan is off it starts hunting again. I am not sure what to look at. Thanks for any help. Log 2020-09-17 3;45;49 pm.llg micktune.pclr

    Idle Hunting

Thanks for reply. I took out the valve and cleaned it and deleted the air regulator which the ecu doesn't utilize anyway. It did get better so the air regulator was definitely a source for a vacuum leak. It now seems to idle around 900 when warm. I will post a log tomorrow. It is still hunting a bit but not nearly as bad. Now my biggest problem is that when you close the throttle the rpms go just a little too low (500) before they recover to about 1000-1100 for couple seconds and then return to 900. As well I am running a separate controller for the e-fan so I need to figure out how to tell the ecu that the fan is on for step up.

    Idle Hunting

Hi Everyone. I have 90 z32tt with a 4G+ pnp. I am basically just finishing my build so it has not seen the street yet. Also please keep in mind that I am new to link and aftermartket ECUs in general. I took my car to a tuner last week to have it dyno tuned. I don't yet know how the drivability is since I am waiting for my front bumper to come back from paint. So far I had let the car idle a couple of times to look at some minor issues (small collant leak) which I have fixed. Here is my issue. When the car is cold started it starts nice and stable and come down to around 1200 rpm. Then it sits like that for a while if I blip the gas at all it goes to about 1900 and stays there. Eventually it comes down to about 900-1000. At that point if I touch the throttle it comes down to about 1100 then it starts hunting until 10 to 20 seconds later it calms down to 900. Is there anything I can do to make this a little more stable. I have attached two logs. One is at it sits up high and the second is where its warm and hunting. TIA. Please let me know if there is anything else I need to add. Log 2020-09-9 12;09;57 pm.llg Log 2020-09-9 12;17;36 pm.llg

    5V in AN temp2???

Hi everyone. So this is my first time installing a link ecu. I am pretty good with electrics but I am not a professional. I installed plug and play link 4g+ into my 300 zx. I am having a two major issues. 1: I have reconfigured AN temp2 from fuel temp to IAT. I am using an AEM IAT so I set it up for ohm input, Celsius output, 10 increments and then I used cal table 1 and entered some numbers that seem to be working for people. I constantly get an error 46, volt at 5 volts. I checked the source wire to the sensor, it has five 5V as it should. I checked the brand new IAT, it came back 2.4K ohms, which seems reasonable. Then I checked the signal return wire with the sensor disconnected as a last resource and I am seeing 5V in there as well. I seriously do not think I messed up the harness this bad. I cannot make sense of it. What am I missing here? 2: My CEL is not coming on although the laptop is showing that it should be flashing. Not even at key on. But when I turn off the ignition it flickers on so it must be connected. Any help would be appreciated.
