  1. Good to hear you got it solved. What did you find? Simon
  2. If running Anti-Lag best bet is to turn the over run cut off. For the boost map only time will tell. Work in slowly and see if the numbers will need moving up or down.
  3. One thing to watch when setting up wasted spark is that you have one coil per igniter channel. So if you are using 3 dual post coils then you need a 3 channel igniter. If using 6 coils then you will need 6 igniter channels(ie 2 3 channel igniters) with the inputs to the igniters paired. If you try to run two single post coils off one igniter channel you will get a very week spark.
  4. You are getting close. Now all it can really be is the timing. Ill have a look at you MAP and just check there is nothing too out of line.

    AFM Link

We have dropped both the AFM and Intercept Links off the product line. We now only do full ECUs. Simon
  6. In theory it should just leave the fueling as is intended for the last row. If you haven't got the instruction book we can email one through. I don't think the AFMLink ever had a map limit. Simon
  7. The key is to have it so the ECU is the first thing to power up and every thing else to follow. However the way you have it currently should be all good. Two relays would be a little better for splitting the load as with 8 coils you will be pulling some good amounts of current. Simon
  8. Peter from Thor racing in the UK will be the best to talk to about this. Thor Racing Unit 7, Runway Farm, Honiley Road, Meer End, Kenilworth, United Kingdom CV8 1NQ Tel +44 1676 535 888 [email protected] http://www.thor-racing.co.uk/ Simon
  9. For the G2s you need to set triggers to one tooth per TDC with sync on cam. This is a hangover of G2s still having sub-boards. On a G3 you would use one or the other of the LS1 options. (there are two different types of crank trigger dependent on engine spec) I can look over the PCL file and tweak it if needed. [email protected] For the coils "poping" on key on you can solve this by letting the fuel pump control also switch on the relay to supply the coils. Simon
  10. You need a sync to let the ecu know whereabouts in the 720deg cycle you are at. For wasted spark we fire on both TDC strokes so no cam sync is required. Any of the 3 options will work for your application its just a case of picking one that matches size wise for mounting. Simon
  11. Hi Adam For the G2s you need to set triggers to one tooth per TDC as for the LS1s we used a decoding sub-board. Dwell must be set to rising! If you send through your PCL file to me I can tweak it to suit. [email protected] Simon
  12. Sequential fuel (allows for individual cylinder trims), And lots of extra ins and outs. These come in handy if you want to retain all factory functions as well as motorsport options.
  13. You can look at either the LinkPlusG3 or the LEM G3 both will do the trick. http://www.linkecu.com/products/engine-management/Wire-In/wire-in-home Both will need to be wired in. You can however use one of our header boards which will allow you to retain the existing factory loom. http://www.linkecu.com/products/InstallationAccessories/LoomsAndAdapters/LoomsAndAdapters-home
  14. We now have 3 types of trigger wheel. one with 58 teeth and a gap of 2 teeth which is 200mm diameter. This is good for lower speed applications <8000rpm. The other two wheels have 24 teeth of which you can remove a tooth if you require a sync. They are 150mm or 175mm diameter. We should also have a matching sensor shortly. But if an option is need sooner a Subaru reluctor sensor can be used. Simon
  15. Trying to get a time frame out of engineering is like getting blood out of a stone. But it is on the to be done list.
  16. Much more. In the G3's you can set up where you want the injectors firing and they stay sequential all the way through.
  17. In G1s the correction for air temp isn't that fine of an adjustment so any place in the intake will work ok.
  18. Really need a scope to check the output. To see if it is switching at all. We can bench test if required.
  19. If you are lucky the MX5 one might be close at least as a starting point for fuel and ignition. Don't copy over the full PCL file only import the Fuel and ignition. You will need to manually configure all the inputs and outputs. I think thats the only NA map that we have. You will then have to adjust to suit from there.
  20. Not currently but this is likely to become available.
  21. This is likely to be the Tacho wanting a coil negative signal. The ECU only does a pulsed 0-12V signal. Some Tachos can be modified across.
  22. Im assuming this is a G1 Linkplus. On the G1 ecus there is little point in running sequential as the ECU crosses over to group fire at anything more than 30% duty cycle (light load, unless very big injectors) So any thing high power it will be running group mode anyway. For the stalling at lights more adjustment of the idle hot value and maybe the overrun vacuume target. Simon
  23. Can't say we have come across this yet. I would give it some more time and see.
