Simon got a reaction from M1tch in Newbie switch question
We can deal with either option. If switching to ground then the Di will need the pullup turned on, If switching 12V then pullup will need to be turned off on the Di.

Features say, Analog (voltage) output proportional to gear level force. So you need to use a Analog input not a digital input.

Simon got a reaction from themta4 in trigger 2 sync problem
The ECCS sync is only applicable for Nissan 360 opto trigger mode. It will show no for all other trigger setups.

Simon reacted to Adamw in Cant conect with laptop & power stay on when key is turned off
Ok, heres a bit of info on the power circuit to help you diagnose:
The main power grounds are pins 107,108,116,10,20. Our ECU doesnt need all of them but check at least a couple of those have good continuity to ground.
Pin 45 is a 12V "ignition on" signal from the ignition switch - the ecu doesnt use this for power but when pin 45 is live (12V), a mosfet inside the adaptalink (think of it like a relay), connects pin 16 to ground. Pin 16 is the trigger to the main ECCS relay coil. when pin 16 is grounded by the ecu, the ECCS relay should engage and then supply 12V to pin 49 & 59. Pin 49 & 59 is the main power supply to the ecu and the ecu will then power up.

Simon got a reaction from Ted in Knock control and corrections
It focuses the input closer to the expected knock frequency so you should get less background noise coming through.
Making it easier to identify knock

Simon got a reaction from Mat TT in AUDI TT '99 ABS ASR LIGHT ON
Hi
If you swap back to the factory ECU do you have faults showing as the 99 model is what our test car was so would expect it is well sorted.
Are you able to post or Email in a copy of the set up so we can confirm the CAN is happy.

Simon got a reaction from Davidv in How do you use cal tables with digital inputs?
You can't is the short answer.
Im not actually sure that MAF should even be an option currently in the Di channels.

Simon got a reaction from Purpleline in G4 plus PnP GTR34 hks v cam
If you leave the control solenoid unplugged you will have the cams sitting at a safe position. (or just have the Aux turned off)

Simon got a reaction from sbn1979 in Evo 8 dbw wiring diagram
We have a pinout for the EVO 10 throttle in the PC link help file
Navigation: Wiring Information > Output Wiring > E-Throttle > Specific E-Throttle Applications >
Mitsubishi EVO X
We don't have anything on the pedal.

Simon reacted to Swift in Swifts track car
Thanks so much to the Link Support guys...Adam...Simon...I have absolutely hammered them with Numpty questions. Its going well...steep learning curve for me...but all sensors, switches and triggers are working. Coil on plugs and injectors test fine. Next is the e throttle setup.
Im glad I bought the Link extreme....the support is worth it...I'd be lost without the help.

Simon got a reaction from emresubaru in 2004 Sti misfire under load V88
Make sure all filters are on level 1 / low and you might need to lower the arming voltages at higher RPMs.

Simon got a reaction from Simon Kribstock in Subaru V5-6 IAT
I suspect as you mentioned that B136 pin 19 is the Stock IAT. Will soon know if you turn the function to IAT and see if you get a reading, If no connection the input will go to 5Volts and throw an error.

Simon got a reaction from R24 in Bosch 3 wire 0280140578 and Min/Max clamp setting
Just enough to let the motor sit at a low idle with no load on it. It will be a case of trial and error.
-
Simon got a reaction from R24 in Bosch 3 wire 0280140578 and Min/Max clamp setting
A typical situation would be that if the min clamp is to low, the ECU will be reducing the idle by lowering the DC. It will work fine down to say 30% but as you drop below 30% the valve starts to open again getting more open as you reduce the DC which causes the idle to increase and the ECU pulls even more.
If the solenoid is full closed at 0% DC then there is no issue with a 0 clamp its only in cases where the valve starts to open at lower DC.

Simon got a reaction from Ttpcar in [UPDATE] PCLink 5.6.6.3564 (on hold)
I assure you all we will let you know once we have it out.
Would rather have it all well sorted so we don't make the same mistake again.

Simon reacted to cj in Temp sensor inputs
Yes you can, you just need to wire in a pullup resistor to 5v so that the AnVolt input sees between 0-5V depending on the resistance of the sensor.

Simon got a reaction from DOLFO in [UPDATE] PCLink 5.6.6.3564 (on hold)
Should being the key element in that. We have put in a couple of other fixes so taking a little longer. But it is very close I have been running a test version for a few days now and all seems happy.

Simon got a reaction from Warchild in Ballast Resistor Quad 4.7 ohm installation help
Yes the resistor just needs to be fitted in series with each injector.
