Why didn't you just buy an extreme instead. Plugins are cheaper for a reason.

I'm Australian Brisbane time. What time suits you. I'm on rotation off so any time works for. Email me at [email protected] and we can organise a time.
-
I can remote login to help get idling latter tonight if your free.
Using team viewer.
-
Where are you located? Time wise.
-
So what was the solution to get it running?

i have posted a log of it trying to start above, will it not allow you to open this?
ive just thought i havent done a trigger scope with it at this point (actually trying to start)
should each trigger pulse be this irratic?
Try this map

I had issues with ASNU dead times before but those figures should not prevent it from starting. I had the 90/2000 1300cc injectors.
Can you please post a log of it trying to start.

Can you post your dead times. My anti virus is not letting me download your map atm

yep, figured out the test procedure now, I've got 12v+ switch to the injectors, there all on the correct cylinder, same as spark plugs / coils all good spark and on the correct cylinder
When u lock the timing at say 10 deg it's roughly showing 10 deg on the balancer?
Also where did u get ur injector dead times from?

Adam, I've just been tracing back steps of everything I've done, now, injectors.. I've checked I have an ignition 12v+ on one pin on every injector.
now the other pin, i take it this is a switched earth from the ECU, will this vary in resistance?
I've not ran a test on an injector using pcLink before so i could be doing it completely wrong, but if I activate inject 1 test, across the 2 pins I'm only getting 2.2v
could you please advise / correct my testing methods?
If you run cylinder one test. Check cylinder 1 injector is buzzing. Remove plug and it should stop. Test all like this.
Just make sure cylinders are wired in sequence and NOT in firing order.
1 to 1
2 to 2
3 to 3 and so on.
If u haven't checked ignition I would recommend u do the same. I use a spare spark plug and ground out on the rocker cover.

If possible try a extra jumper lead from the battery negative to the block.
-
I would strong suggest if your tuning this yourself to visit.
Otherwise find another tuner.
-
In my quick look you can see the fuel table scaling is very similar from low rpm to high rpm.
Why is the master fuel set for 12ms?
Why didn't the tuner use modelled mode?

0.85v when full and 5.6v when empty. Im maxing out the 5v limit.
Looking at a voltage divider atm.

Yeah it was a poor pic that has been fixed. I tried with the pullup box checked and uncheck with the same results. It mentions about PDM only so I don't know if I have this feature available. Yes I still have the factory gauge connected as well.
I have look at the FSM and the resistance when Full is 5 ohms and empty is 95 ohms
-
I have run out of scaling for my fuel gauge. I figure I need to use a resistor in series to drop the mv under 5 but unsure what size resistor to run. Is there any recommendation?

Nice looking setup there. I don't have AC so I'm using a dry ice tank inside my main water tank when I want my temps under ambient.
Have you measured the water pressure in your lines after the pump? You could have some head pressure reducing the water flow.
I would also run a Differential pressure gauge accros your radiators as you may find your wheel well is not as negative as you think.
-
If your still running AC you can get creative with the cold side AC hose to cool your water
-
If you PM me ur email I'll send you some log files where I test water flow speed through a radiator.
-
Nice ride, one of the biggest things I learnt with my W2A setup is run the biggest pump and lines possible.
Can't go wrong with plenty of sensors, without data it's just an assumption.
-
Dam I run a 100psi sensor and have no issues with resolution. You can see the pressure rise as the temp goes up. Mine is mounted in the storage tank. Can post a log/trend if u would like.

Can you link ur current map. Try these dead times and zero out your SPAT

What lambda at idle? Try at .95 and see how that goes. Once u get accurate dead times you can lean it back out.
4 hours ago, ellisd1984 said:Can I ask what sort of settings you've got in your dead times and short pulse width tables for bosch 1000cc injectors? I'm chasing my tale trying to get my car idling at any sort of consistant Lambda (celica 205 gt4 on petrol) The deadtimes i got supplied don't seem to be anywhere near and I can't switch the injection to batch fire to check as the car just runs even rougher!
What's the lowest actual & effective pulsewidth that work on the 3sgte with similar injectors? As soon as my coolant fans cut in (or any sort of electrical load) my afr's just go through the roof. What lambda at idle? Try at .95 and see how that goes. Once u get accurate dead times you can lean it back out.

Your base fuel pressure is 440kpa so your injector data has to match that. Or drop your base fuel pressure down to 300kpa

Where did you see where Link say there plugins have ALL the features of an extreme. This link doesn't mention it https://linkecu.com/new-to-ecus/plugin-ecus-explained/
