Ducie54 got a reaction from Leo Malcolm in G4x Base map
Is it possible to have a Math block drop down box with the maths all ready worked out?

As a feature request can we have the option on which Lambda sensor is used for CLL.
As example I'm using 5 lambda sensors. One in the turbo dump pipe and 4 in the turbo manifold using a CAN module. The software uses a average for CLL but would be nice to use Lambda one so manifold pressure is not an influence. Currently to get around this from happening I've set the 4 CAN lambdas as CAN TC.

Ducie54 reacted to mapper in Share your Math Channel List
I like to start a thread where everyone can add his Math channels, so a database is built.
Please only post Math channels with short explanation in this thread.
To keep it simple any discussion must be done in other threads.
Boost error channel = Target Boost - MAP
Boost error parameter can then be used to control an electric Blowoff
Brake bias = (rear+ front break press)/ rear break press
Front Wheelspeed Difference = LF wheel speed - RF wheel speed
Used to tune your LSD differential settings
Slip right = nondriven-wheelspeed - RR wheelspeed
Setup an Aux and turn on a driver warning light on the right side of the dash. So Driver knows right rear wheel is spinning faster ( eg. attention after a curb). Add the same function another for left. Then it looks like this :-) from 3.00min

@Ducie54 I get that if I haven't turned on a fuel mode yet.
Switch on a fuel mode and you get it, I'll add a note to the engineers to show a message "no fuel mode selected...blah blah etc"

For those looking for a base map to have a play with.
Software can be found at http://www.linkecu.com/pclink/PCLink 6.15.15.exe
Monsoon FW 6.15.6.pclx

Are you getting fuel flow and pressure?
Any idea the condition of your fuel filter.

Try running a power wire straight from the battery to the wideband power supply.

Ducie54 reacted to Stevieturbo in Map Limit didn't engage during Shift Cut
Perhaps get back into the real world and use some common sense.
Why should you need to anticipate basic tuning for cells ? Seriously, think about what you're saying.
And BS about the "lean firing that comes with fuel cut"

Ducie54 reacted to Simon in Map Limit didn't engage during Shift Cut
Hi CJ
The Gear cut takes the higher priority over just about all other limits.
A hard cut on the fuel will be higher priority so if you set the map limit to have the hard cut on then when it then hit the hard limit it would then over ride the gear cut.
Regards
Simon

Bit silly running high boost, untested cells on pump fuel with aggressive timing ? Ultimately that's what the real problem is here.
And a fuel cut will be a lot safer than an ignition cut. It just seems a lot choose ignition cut because it's more likely to make silly banging noises during a cut. But yes, improper ignition can and will destroy shit. Big time.

Ducie54 got a reaction from NickRP in Closed loop coolant temperature ctrl w/ map controlled thermostat
On my setup I use a 3d table to PWM an engine water pump. After a lot of testing I found using the temp output from the radiator and ECT the best way to control the pump. Takes into account out side temp and vechile speed. Would recommend you try that way to control the thermostat. Ive also connected a 2nd Digital output to the same soild state relay as an override. So if I'm at a set TPS or boost range the pump goes to 100%. After a bit of testing during different conditions I can keep the ECT within 2deg in all situations.

Features say, Analog (voltage) output proportional to gear level force. So you need to use a Analog input not a digital input.

Ducie54 got a reaction from Volcom86 in What is wrong with my tune?
Surely any link dealer should be capable of tuning a link using the current software. Another reason why tunes get locked IMO.
-
Ducie54 got a reaction from Volcom86 in What is wrong with my tune?
Also looks like base fuel pressure is only 2.5 bar. You have a fuel pressure sensor input but not using it in the modelled equation.
Injector dead time curve has steps in it.

Another look show it's reducing boost target in higher gears but gear detection is not set up correctly. Your vechile speed is showing when in 0 gear.

Ducie54 reacted to Adamw in Thunder lambda sensors
Im not convinced if it is actually caused by electrical noise or if it is actually the throttle blade moving due to vibration or poor adjustment or lumpy vacuum etc. The "noise" seems to mostly disappear when you open the throttle. Has the cable got plenty of free play and the throttle blade is sitting on a mechanical stop etc?
What is the throttle body on this thing?
Note you need to calibate your TPS as it is showing 40% at idle.

This is how i would wire it. Start with basic triggering before PWM pump so you know all 4 work. Sorry about the crap paint skills

I had a similar issue when the voltage to the lambda sensor was too low. Check it's getting 12volts.
