  1. Thank you so much for the reply. The pin outs on the ecu side i do have. Thats what i used originally and it has worked fine for about the last year and a half(using the factory harness). Im suspecting the wiring in my stock harness from factory. I now want to run new wires directly from my vipec ecu to my TB and the same for the FPS. I was wondering if anyone had the diagrams for the actual TB and actual FPS pinouts so that i can connect on the actual pins and on my ecu. I have been getting these errors mostly, hence why i suspected the TB but now with a 2nd fresh one from another car im getting the exact same... the car will idle fine...then suddenly rev to 4000rpm... i get an error and it would go to RMP limit. Cycle power on the ecu...clear faults then its fine again. sometimes i can even drive around the block with no issues..other times 4-5 ecu power cycles are needed just to get to the end of the street. ive even once had a error at the fps ground Voltage at tps main after calibration with pedal at rest reads 0.74v tps main and 1.59V at tps sub..which is strange that they vary so much..when i go full pedal they read 4.35v at main and 4.48 at sub.....which is alot closer that at 0% pedal. The voltage on fps at rest is 0.69v on main, 0.67v on sub...and at full pedal 2.94v at main and 2.94v at sub.. they track each other perfectly all the time...dunno where that one fps ground error came from... i did change the error values on the FPS sub and main to 0.00 and 5v respectively to test and since have not had any fps errors and watching the values on my laptop while testing they seem pretty solid. but mostly i get these errors..all surrounding the TPS. One thing to note... when the car sits and idles...it shows actual tps value at 4% wich is where my base map is at... then when it suddenly revs to 4k that value doesn't change...which is weird. we all know the only way that engine revs that high is with added air so the TB plate did move but nothing registers on my live run time values... both the Throttle bodies that i have now has done this so i cannot believe that they both have the exact same fault? 85 Foot Position (Main) Signal at ground. FPS(Main) signal has been less then the specified “Error Low” fault condition for this channel for a continuous period of a more than 2 seconds. Wiring fault. 86 Foot Position (Sub) Signal at ground. FPS(Sub) signal has been less then the specified “Error Low” fault condition for this channel for a continuous period of a more than 2 seconds. Wiring fault. 75 Electronic Throttle Position Control Error Throttle Plate Position unable to track Target Position. In this fault state the throttle plate cannot maintain or achieve the desired target position. The Throttle Plate position and Target Position in steady state condition must remain at ALL times within +/- 2% of each other. When the Target position is changing the excepted tolerance is adjusted based on its rate of change. If this tolerance is exceeded for a continuous period of at least 2 seconds this fault code will be generated. Redo TPS calibration procedure. Check Electronic Throttle Control tuning. Check mechanical operation of throttle actuator. 76 TPS Main and TPS Sub tracking Error Throttle Plate Position Signal Tracking Error. Expected relative position between TPS (Main) and TPS (Sub) has exceeded the specified tolerance of +/- 3.0% for a continuous period of more than 2 seconds. In this fault state the ECU must assume the throttle plate feedback to be invalid and that a problem exists with either with the TPS(Main) or TPS(Sub) signal. The ECU cannot detect which signal is invalid which means the plate position is effectively unknown and cannot be controlled. Sensor Fault, test sensor. Sensor Calibration Fault, recalibrate sensors. 77 FPS Main and FPS Sub tracking Error Foot Position Signal Tracking Error. Expected relative position between the FPS (Main) and FPS (Sub) has exceeded the specified tolerance of +/- 3.0% for a continuous period of more than 2 seconds. In this fault state the ECU must assume the foot position feedback to be invalid and that a problem exists with either with the FPS(Main) or FPS(Sub) signal. The ECU cannot detect which signal is invalid which means the foot position is effectively unknown. At this point the ECU will force a fault condition value to 5.0%. It should be noted that in this fault condition the ECU still has control over the throttle plate and this will continue to be controlled as normal which also means the Electronic Throttle Control isolating relay will remain ON. Sensor Fault, test sensor. Sensor Calibration Fault, recalibrate sensors Thank you again for the support Marius
  2. Good day all I have a vipec v88 standalone ecu on a 2006 WRX STI. I used the factory harness and only spliced my ecu in from the stock ecu pinouts. Have been driving for around a year on the base PID settings and now i have been getting random errors related to my e-throttle. I changed the TB and still getting almost all of the possible errors at various random times so im suspecting the wiring. I cannot find the pinouts on the TB and The FPS. Any idea where i can find these as i want to run fresh wiring to the TB and the FPS. or then a way to test both of them to determine the pins? Another question? currently the main and sub channels on both my FPS and TB run their voltage range from low to high(meaning 0v to 5v), is this right. On some cars ive seen the main go from 0 - 5v and the sub from 5 to 0v.. both mine go from 0 - 5v, sub and main channels and on both the TB on FPS. Thank you in advance Marius
  3. hey there guys, Please excuse the stupid question as I'm sure the answer is staring me right in the face, I cannot find the setting that kick's open the throttle plate to "x" amount when i engage cyclic idle, mine stays on current idle TP value and then obviously wants to die or idle at 450 Rpm's. Its on a 2006 wrx sti, ej25 E-throttle. On videos I've seen they open the throttle to 20 or so percent when flicking the switch for cyclic idle that takes the idle up to 1600 or so... Thank you in advance Marius
  4. Good day, Firstly, i did search my ass off before coming on here like a noob asking for help with wiring. I cannot find a diagram for throttle body or the foot pedal for a 2006 subaru wrx sti. I bought a standalone v88 so i need to wire these components but cannot find info anywhere. If anyone here has a diagram showing wich pins on the throttle body is the motor + motor - and so on, also on the foot pedal to find out wich one is the main signal, the sub signal, grounds and so on... i would be for ever thank full. I am not a workshop and are also not trying to save money by doing it myself... i do it purely out of enjoyment as a hobby. I build my own motors, do my own piping and welding. the only thing don't do is tuning. just thought ill add that so people don't think I'm a greedy bitch not wanting to support the tuning shops by having it installed. Please if anyone can help me...... Best regards Marius
