  1. fixed that. it was ICV issue itself. now i have 750-800 rpm. everything looks ok. just AFR too rich. 10-10.5 idle process uses the same fuel table? i had another fuel table for idle on megasquirt. nothing like this here? i had 22:1 afr on stock ecu and megasquirt. no chance to make the same on vipec?
  2. hi Dave, i've not tested your setting yet. got another problem and still cant fix it. i've installed idle control valve, but seems it not closes :/ got 2700 rpm at idle any ideas how ICV works? 1 pin connected to icv open(aux 2), 2 is 12v(i think so), 3 icv closed(aux 1) when provide +12 to 2 and ground to 1 it opens, but when i provide +12 to 2 and ground to 3 it doesn't closes at all. maybe got icv damaged? thats my last tune with icv activated. can you look please? if there's no settings issue? p.s there's no separate fuel table for idle? last_icv.pcl
  3. oho... looks like i had bad ground and power to coils and that's why i was getting blowout. i've installed much bigger wires and car looks perfect. just needs dyno for more extended tuning. also did everything as pictured in your post. that's my log(4.rar). boost about 1.7 bar with no problem. goal is 2-2.5 there are just 1,2 and 3 gear. no good roads for more speed just one problem. not shows vehicle speed :/ i've connected speed wire from cluster to DI 1. any ideas why it not works? it worked ok on megasquirt :/ p.s one more problem. battery voltage looks to be low at boost. drops to 12.95 . no chance ecu to turn off engine fan after 5000 rpm or so? i use electronic fan, it should use much power i think. 4.rar
  4. yes i used on/off. or i could also setup variable. but i never tried it. looked harder to me :/ (100 means on, 0 means off)
  5. it has one. thats it. 2 pin solenoid. i've connected one of it(the pin that was previously used with megasquirt) to aux 4. no idea that another one is. maybe +12 p.s edited last post on previous page. maybe something interesting
  6. if its hard to find, never mind. vanos is more important now. and spark blowout issue. i'm quite sure clt and iat calibration will not fix the problem just wanna set up vanos correctly , maybe it causes the problem? :roll: p.s clt shows about 10 degrees more. 2 week ago, when i used megasquirt, it was reading max clt 99 after few high boost run. now it shows max 110. IAT was max 32, now 39. also yesterday was about 10 degrees hotter outside. maybe it shows correctly and the differences just because of weather changes i use siemens deka 80LB injectors(FI114992 part number i believe). 3 bar static fuel pressure. not sure if it should be so, but stock m50 fuel rail has 3 bar regulator. i have adjustable FPR will change if needed.
  7. head is m52, but with m50 cam sensor. so it should work as m50. as i know vanos the same for m50 and m52, both single vanos only inlet.

  10. air: 13621725323 clt: 13621703993 crank: 12141726066 crank sensor as i believe is magnetic. i'll search again. 100% looks like a pic bellow i don't think its rich, 10.8 is quite good afr @ high rpm and boost, no?
  11. thanks for help dave, i use standard bmw sensors. m50 iat and m52 clt(i think m50 m52 same functionality) nothing wrong with map, i use cal 4 table as you told me. so it works ok. startup problem was not caused by map. just used another tune file and engine runs ok. just not sure about vanos and sensor(clt iat) calibrations. as my friend told me, stock bmw sensors show wrong values without calibration. but no idea how to make it
  12. its stand alone. i've fixed that issue already, but now i got spark blowout i think. got AFR 10.8 @ 7000 and suddenly 17 after 7000 it sounds like fuel not burns in comb chamber, but in exhaust. p.s Dave, do you know how to wire up and configure vanos? i've just connected aux 4 to vanos solenoid. is that enough? and one more question. i think my IAT and CLT sensors also needs calibration :/ they are not in a list. i've selected "Std Bosch NTC", but it may shows wrong :? last.pcl
  13. i've just installed v88. cant start the engine. looks like i have some tune issue. maybe someone can share any base tune for m50 vanos engine? i try to start engine with "BMW E36 i88 Plugin.pcl"
  14. just tried to start engine with 4 bar map settings. not starting :S got all the spark plugs wet. maybe map issue? not changes while cranking :roll:
  15. thanks dave, i've done it. it still shows 96. seems it should be so.
