  1. 60-2 trigger whhel is inside block. we install another trigger wheel in front of alternator pulley on crank, and it seems that problem is solved. problem is that there is no visual damage on trigger which is in block.
  2. yes, 4.10.2 in ON mode throttle blade is not moving. in ON setup mode throttle blade is working properly tried it with started engine, same problem. i drove car in "ON setup mode" and it works.
  3. no trigger errors, no single one. ive try it without boost solenoid, without alternator attached, without idle solenoid, without speed sensor, without rpm and gauge pwm output, basically engine was running with trigger input (tried without cam trigger), injecors, coils, ect and tps sensor. (all other wires unplugged from vipec connector). only thing left to try is new trigger wheel
  4. voltage measured 1000rpm 6.70v 2000rpm 10.5v 3000rpm 12.4v 4000rpm 13.1v 5000rpm 14.7v engine hesitates around 5200 rpm and then runs up to rev limiter which is at 8000rpm. arming voltage set from 4.5v to 7v filtering level from 1 to 4 no changes. 3x sets of spark plugs changed 3x sets of coils changed 3x crank sensors changed 2x fpr changed 3x fuel pumps dont know where to look any more, do you have any ideas ?
  5. Is it possible to fix bug on Ethrottle? Ethrottle is not working in ON mode, even if engine is running (ecu sees rpm signal). It does work in setup mode so i didnt want to make a fuss, but bug exists. Maybe that is chance to fix all bugs and make fw update?
  6. thanks i will try it that way so far ive been using default settings 0.5 to 4.0v and i had no problems and last car is giving me a headache.
  7. Hi guys just want to check with you what would be correct values for trigger arming threshold based on measured voltage with digital multimeter? I found on forum 1/2 of measured would be fine? thanks
  8. Simon, thanks for reply i had 4.9.9 and I upgrade it to 4.10.2 same thing, "ON" mode is not working. what i also did is i connect permanent +12v from battery to B connector (instead over E-throttle relay, because there was no power on B connector for aux 9/10 so i override it) and no buzzing sound, which get me to conclusion that aux 9/10 are still off. And now when you said that if there is no RPM signal e-throttle relay is off i think that same thing is and with aux 9/10 out. Dave told me to try to crank or start engine and see what happens, so i will try to do that, I will check that this weekend and i will let you know. If it is like i suspect it is, e-throttle off, aux 9/10 off, until RPM signal, than everything works and ive been little bit stupid :bag:
  9. im not expert but thats how i would do it press "R" in VTS write down all values for your gears fill up cal table (1-3) with those values and that should work. Oh and yes, as i can see "X" is not working (its greyed out), you cant delete from 5-16, you just can fill it with ridiculously big numbers.
  10. thanks for reply Dave, yes, i did all that. tp table is ok, fp main vs engine rpm, and in "on setup mode" is working as it should. as soon as i set it to "on" mode, nothing, butterfly is dead, and also buzzing sound from it is gone (that is from engine from throttle body). only thing i didnt trY is to crank or start engine and check is it working ( i removed fuel lines and didnt install new ones) maybe e-throttle is not working when engine is shut down?
  11. fixed idle positon table was at 99% when i set it to 0% calibration completed successfully throttle works at setup mode, but it does not work at "ON" mode suggestions ?
  12. and what did i tell you over pm but great you solved it
  13. check your pm try with 65% dc at idle base position table and check help file how to setup idle
  14. yes sorry it srarts from 980 and ends up at 1600 do you have air leak somewhere? cracked vacuum hose? can you upload pcl file on forum?
  15. from a log file i can see that your idle target is 900rpm and car is idling at 980rpm, idle valve is at about 48% dc and vipec is trying to decrease idle by decreasing %dc of idle valve and that is actually raising idle. of course when you press throttle pedal it resets back to 48% dc of idle valve and your idle rpm drops to 970-980 rpm. play with idle settings, it seems you should reverse settings higher dc% lower rpm. btw did you maybe change something on car? flash new firmware to ecu or something? Because this should not be happening if you didnt change anything.
  16. did you measure the gap between cam and cam sensor?
  17. when i move it by hand i can reach 100% also during calibration butterfly opens to 100% but it want stay at 100% it moves from 95-100% it stuck on last calibration
  18. hi guys i have problem with e-throttle setup i get error cannot reach target 98% and i can see tps jumping on 97- 100% can you suggest what to try thanks
  19. pls can you send me your email over pm thanks
  20. i do but its no use b+ to battery charging pin 3 to battery for reference voltage pin 2 from ecu pwm pin 1 feedback to ecu square pwm i ve search alot and i think ive figuire it out, but i dont have 100% confirmed data, i have to test and confirm all this. edit image cant fit link: http://i.imgur.com/9Mjnwc4.jpg and what i found http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/to ... /?p=135566
  21. it seems that ECU controlled alternators (at least ford alternators) are IAT (or even external air temp sensor) and ECT dependent. can anyone confirm this? what about other manufacturers, toyota, nisan, audi ... ? thnx guys
  22. hi guys sorry for bumping old topic does anyone have wiring for vipec and haldex? EDITED if i get this right what i need is aux 5, 6, 7, 8? sensor gnd ? an volt ? +5V ? 4.7ohm resistors 5W? aux 5,6,7 and 8 are wired directly to stepper motor inside haldex housing an volt and sensor gnd are for stepper motor position? i guess i need to improvise some tps sensor and mount it on to stepper motor? And does somebody have data for CL stepper table? thanks
  23. thanks for reply guys and actually i have turbocharged ST150 my idea was to setup gp output with rpm on x axis and batt voltage on y but i think that want work. car is running with 40A (fuel pumps, cop, injectors) what when i get lights on its about 12-15A more heating AC window heaters ... i think that is impossible to compensate system voltage this way, but i will try. 2 bsh is it possible for you to get that pwm table? thanks
  24. Hi guys, i searched but didnt find, is there way to control alternator with v88? alternator need pwm signal to maintain desired system voltage of course load should make no difference in system voltage. Something could be done over GP PWM output with gp output table, but than depending on system power load, voltage would fluctuate. do you have any suggestions how to solve this now? I have idea, but I do not know whether is it doable, i know it requires programing, something like - alternator close loop control (for examle) Operating freq: 250hz min load: 10% max load: 90% desired voltage:13.8v one table with reference numbers like closed loop idle control 800rpm ---- 2000rpm ---- 3000rpm ---- 4000 ---- 5000 ---- .... 50% dc -------48% -----------43%----------38%-------31%------.... btw, i entered ECU serial no but still cant post except here. Please can you fix that, and move topic to v88 support thanks
