My wire in ecu is in standard location been in there 4 years with no issues but I am right hand drive and exhaust comes down the drivers side and ecu on left side have you checked battery voltage when engine running as software has a buttery over volts shutdown in it Goto limits then System voltage limit what’s it set at ? Mines on a g4 storm is set to 18v
  2. Weird cause I had no issues running ver 3-4 waste spark Subaru system at 1.7bar of boost pressure using standard Subaru coil and ingnitor on a G4 storm wire in module Will be moving to Subaru sti newage coil on plug when I upgrade the turbo on waste spark set up
  3. Just a question what Subaru are you running and have you 4 coil on plugs could you use Subaru newage wrx or sti with igniters built in or simple ver 3-4 wasted spark set up with 1 ignitor box
  4. ok as been ruing a lc1 wideband and now and again the wideband controller failed to boot up and fuel ratio stuck at 7:1 until i restarted the ar and went back to normal has happened twice in 3 years
  5. Failing lambda ? is it a wide band or narrow band what car
  6. I know Vi-PEC v88 has e throttle and thought was exclusive to Vi-PEC as bigger brother ecu at the time

  9. as an outsider to the thread looking in why piggy back onto the original ecu when the link fury is more than capable running the engine and many other functions on its own

Basically might have a chance of buying a v88 ecu which is basically a g4 extreme with knock control, ethrottle and peak/hold injector set up would I be able to upload my g4 file into it and what software I use for it and spoke to seller it’s on the latest firmware 4.10.2 same as my g4 storm thanks Neil

  15. Using a 3 bar ext map sensor at moment as the onboard item is a 2.5 bar item can I upgrade the onboard sensor to either 3 or 4 bar or use it for something else as it’s labelled an anolog no.5
  16. hi guys looking to convert my subaru ver 4 to coil on plug away from centre coil for better spark and more boost my g4 storm ecu (wire in) on ver3-4 config has ign dwell against battery voltage, when looking to use ver7 onwards coil on plugs using jti loom coversion and looked at ver5 onwards the dwell times have battery voltage against rpm what the best dwell settings to use on wrx coil on plugs as only have 1 dwell colum on the ver 3-4 configuration as cant go indivial from ecu as using other ign outputs for cooling fan and intercooler water spray activation thanks neil
  17. My map sensor is connected directly to intake and is in stock location but it’s a gm 3 bar unit and have not issues with it have you done a smoke test on the inlet manifold will tell you if manifold to head gaskets are leaking or leak on the inlet itself
  18. Take this is a Subaru on mines it idles at 900 rpm with -70 vacuum on the gauge with a Garrett gt2860rs turbo running a g4 storm wire in unit are the cams set up correctly tpo much over lap or map sensor tubing wrong hole on inlet or is it shared like off a t- piece on another vac line
  19. did you calibrate the map sensor using the drop down menu
  20. Mounted the ait sensor to left of inter cooler outlet as per your red dot before throttle body new sensor had a calibration file to be entered for it to read properly apart from that no issues
  21. Version 3-4 has a centre coil pack which only requires to ign outputs as fired in pairs version 2 has 4 individual coils on plugs and looks like there are firing 2 coils at the same time
