  1. so success 

    everything is working . i have PWM the fans from 50% to 100% over a 2 degree span and it works amazing and doesnt draw anywhere near as much current 

    i currently have them on 125hz and it seems fine but might play around with the frequency

    will i need a flyback diode on the fan circuit using the PDM how i am?

  2. On the pdm test mode I put it on PWM and it only peaks around 50amps. But I’m trying to figure out how to make the fan PWM on the ecu but I can only seem to achieve this using a GP PWM and use a table . Is there anyway to use the normal fan channel with the hysteresis etc but just soft start them

  3. Finally got back to the car.

    have the water pump fully operational with the engine running. Can aux becomes aftive and dc relates to the table 

     

    but my fans. If I go onto the pdm and push test. They work no problem . When water temp becomes above the set temp. Can aux for fans becomes active but straight away says fault and red light on the pdm 

     

    any ideas what would cause this ?

  4. ok i have progress !

     

    i changed some things but basically ended up changing it back so im unsure what the issue was

    now when i turn the ignition on i have 1x fuel pump prime which is the one assigned to can aux 1. the other 2 pumps assigned to can aux 1 status arent working. but i dont have water pump which is on a different can aux. fans i dont know as motor isnt running

     

    ive attached my PDM file and tune file if you could take a look and see what the difference is please

    all fuel pumps are working ! i had to change the condition status to inactive and now all 3 fuel pumps are operating. but for the life of me i cant get the water pump or fans to operate. i dont understand what the compound ID is and i think thats what the issue is as thats what made my fuel pump start working

  5. awesome i just updated the firmware

    im pretty confident i have no can comunication as if i go to test mode on my fans on the pdm - fans work. my water temps currently at 13 degrees and if i set fans to come on at 10 degrees i get nothing

  6. ok disregard the last file i had a few things messed up.

    now if i test water pump. it works

    if i test fans - they work.

    if i test lift pump - it works

    but i think i have no can communication and no can auxs are turning on

     

    this pdm file is to what i can see configured how it should be to turn fans and water pump and fuel pumps on via can aux 1 2 3 respectfully.

    ive read through the help file on how to get the can communication to work but i cant seem to get it to

  7. so im curently trying to start my car and my lift pump fault codes instantly. for the life of me i cant figure out how to show what the fault is except FAULT- tried running a time plot but it doesnt even show anything when the fuel pump sounds 

    it also sounds like its PWM when i dont want it to . my ecu is set to STANDARD fuel pump operation

     

    time plot shows 10000 hz and in the output i cant change the frequency

  8. ive finally figured out how to configure the razor but have yet to test in the car

    i am running multiple fuel pumps. 2 high pressure pumps and 1 lift pump

    i have them wired and configured on the pdm as

    hc1 - high pressure pump 1

    hc2 - high pressure pump 2

    adio 5 and adio 6 bridged for my lift pump

    in the ecu i have the fuel pump configured as CAN AUX 1

    so in the pdm i select HC1 to CAN AUX 1. but i cant select multiple outputs to be triggered off the same CAN AUX input

     

    am i missing something as i want them all to come on at the same time when i prime the engine for start up

    i will post my proposed wiring for the pdm and see if you think i should change anything around

     

    25a - Walbro 460lph pump (22a according to google)

    25a - walbro 460lph pump 

    25a - 2x maradyne fans (14" 16.9a and 11" 7.4a according to their site)

    25a - Ignition coils x6

     

    8a- ecu -ic7 dash-pdm ign switch - injectors - 

    8a- gps speed module- flex fuel sensor- cam trigger- wideband -vct solenoid- boost solenoid

    8a- e throttle supply into ecu (+14v aux 9/10)

    8a Bridged for aem 400lph lift pump (16a on google but this will only be filling a surge tank not a pressure supply) 

    8a bridged as above

    8a bridged for davies craig ewp150 on PWM (10a according to davies craig)

    8a bridged as above

    8a brake lights (all LED) -Alternator light circuit

     

    i think thats all my car needs. if theres any better options u can think of that would be amazing

     

    but i was going to power a switch that when on would turn on the ecu - pdm - ic7 which would be my ignition switch. if im powering the ic7 ecu and pdm and injectors through one ADIO. how would i wire an ignition switch to turn the car on and off ?

    ahh would the best way to switch the pdm power supply so when pdms on everything becomes alive. so the pdm power source would be my ignition switch

    i am currently wiring a link g4x fury and razor pdm into a skyline with an RB 

    just needing to know a couple components current draw so i know which way to pair them up for the pdm

    Hitachi R35 coils

    Bosch 1650cc injectors

    lsu4.9 wideband sensor

    aux 9/10 to drive bosch dbw throttle

    RB VCT solenoid

    hall effect cam trigger (crank is reluctor)

    mac valve

    gm flex fuel sensor

     

    davies craig EWP150 states 10a current draw. will this change if its PWM driven?

     

    any help would be much appreciated

  11. Could the disconnection  issue be due to electrical noise ? We have had a similar issue at high loads on the dyno with non resisted spark plugs (and the coils are kind of close to the ecu) it would disconnect the laptop from pclink.  But again it was only at high load it would do that . Went back to resistor plugs and issue went away

    for some reason when i go to update firmware the newsest it says i can go is 5.6.7.3631

    theres no newer option

    now i have it loaded in. and ethanol content is available.. but shows -% on the dash .. on pclink its displaying fine

     

    also now my gear selection is stuck on 1. where as was working fine before. works fine on pclink
