  1. ill be sure to do that scott, anything that will help you provide great support in the future
  2. Judging by what i have read, the magnets attach to the tail shaft and thats your 'teeth' it essentially is a cruise control thinga'majig
  3. gonna run it off the tail shaft so the link should read that perfectly but just need calibration?
  4. Hey guys i have a link G4 plug and play for RB26 here Gearbox in the car is a 2 speed powerglide, with a 1.80 straight cut gear set which are quite alot larger than the standard gears, which means that you cant put a speedo in the factory spot So was looking at this one here, http://www.summitracing.com/parts/RPC-250-4165/?rtype=10 would it be possible to hook that up to the factory input of the ecu and calibrate it to work fine? as i want to run it for the speedo input on my racepack dash cheers
  5. http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/15624/ls2_coil_schematic.jpg so the ignition output from the ecu would go to the green © on there? what else would i need to hook up as the RB26 coils are only 3 pin and i cant seem to find a diagram cheers
  6. which cable is the exact one needed to connect the vipec cable to the link g4 plug in itself?
  7. G'day guys is it possible to setup LS1 coil packs on a link g4 plugin for RB26? as they are alot cheaper than purchasing aftermarket RB26 coilpacks and there is no need for an ignitor which is another part which is prone to fail cheers
  8. Couldnt you just wire it straight into the factory speedo wire into the ecu for the same effect?
  9. Righto, how much is the link serial/rs232 cable worth? i might just got the vipec adapter made by racepak
  10. So your saying it will work fine direct connect? no need for an interface module likes this? Â http://949racing.com/racepak-efi-interface.aspx
  11. Also the can/rs232 port in the link is a 5 pin unit, and the racepak V-net cable is a 5 pin unit would it be possible to get one of these (http://www.specestore.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=8710_13968_13984_14002&products_id=13225) and wire them up to corresponding pins? as by going by what people are saying that they dont need the unit which lets them talk anymore? cheers
  12. http://www.vi-pec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=400&p=4737&hilit=racepak#p4737 by the looks in there, ray has said that the interface is not required for racepak anymore so would this be the same with the link? so if i got a serial cable for the RS232 port from you and got a serial cable output from racepak that may work? cheers
  13. So what cable do i use? i found the CAN/RS232 port inside the ecu so i would go from there can you point me in the right direction? by the sounds of it you dont need a mid way interface like the vipec ones they sell anymore? Â cheers
  14. awesome! i emailed racepak and they havent gotten back to me about it, you got any more info about it? cheers
  15. No problem its not real rush, so what is involved in getting the racepak to work on my link g4 once this firmware release is made?
