  1. I have a 1997 sti with the same issue of the tacho bouncing (and only when the throttle is pressed down) around but using a G3 ecu. It's almost certianly wiring but I havent been able to track it down yet unfortunately.
  2. The XY plot doesn't really work like that... The way to do what you want is to select the Xaxis as RPM, Parameter as MAP, then use the colour indicator on the data derived from the WB data As far as I know anyway Â
  3. Hi Guys This has been touched on before but i cant find the thread when I search. I have a GP PWM output configured to drive my subaru DCCD gearbox, currently I can select 2 parameters to map the dccd lock. I want to add complexity to the control by mapping 3 or 4 parameters. What solves this problem is using the output of one GP PWM table as the axis on another GP PWM table, but I cant do this internal to the ecu, instead i have to wire an output to an input externally to the ecu. Here is a video showing 2D control of dccd using TPS v VSS Â To save using up physical outputs and inputs, a virtual GP PWM option would be great! Thanks Â

    Log filter

Loving the logging, but it's so good i keep coming up with other functions i'd like to use haha Is it possible to filter a datalog, for example, to show only TPS>50%, or Gear=5th, or something like that? Similar to what is available to start and stop the internal logger, but as a post processing function. Keep up the good work
  5. Mostly just where I want to share a small part of a log, it's much easier to cut and paste some text into an email or forum than try to attach a big file, for example. There is virtual dyno type software that also only imports text or csv files. Also there is some video software that allows you to import engine parameters from a csv to overlay onto recorded track footage. The export function sounds good, will it allow you to export just a portion of the log or all of it at once? Exporting segments would be ideal...
  6. Is it possible to implement a copy and paste function for the columns of numbers in the value list? I want to use those numbers to paste into other programs. At this stage I dont see a way to get the numbers out easily... Thanks
  7. I imagine you could also use a capacitor in parallel with the accusump ecu to keep the relay energised for a few seconds after power is disconnected. But this might dampen response slightly...
  8. Probably the wrong place to ask, but can you use that airboy spreadsheet with speed density instead of MSF?
  9. On this topic slightly, the g4 software has inputs (or was it outputs) in the software that aren't shown in the g3 pin diagram. From memory AN11 was one of them. Is it possible to use these or does the pin simply not exist on g3 hardware?
  10. ...Can g4 datalogs be loaded into I2? As a simpler step before full blown math functions, how about when a fuel pressure input is set up the differntial fuel pressure optionally selected instead of the absolute pressure? On my defi gauge controller there is a simple option to display differntial pressure by simply referencing the fuel and MAP pressures.
  11. You can use the PWM outputs easily enough to drive a multi-LED setup. The easiest way to do it that I can think of is to output the PWM signal to a low-pass filter to generate a linear voltage, then input that into an LED driver IC such as an LM3914. An LM3914 is cheap and will drive up to 10 LEDs based on a 0-5V input signal. Construct the LP filter using a resistor and capacitor. Then once it is all connected simply adjust the PWM map to light up the desired LED for your given sensro input level.
  12. Microswitch on the clutch pedal is most common. Other methods include a strain gauge on the gear stick, gearstick button/switch, or using the neutral position sensor on the gearbox. Depends on the car and type of box as to what might be the best option.
  13. These are values the link guys gave me once, not sure that they're correct 15kPa @ 0.2V 700kPa @ 4.7V
  14. I think this is related to the new G4 USB drivers... I cant think of anything that has changed on the car side of things. Recently everything was working fine, then after installing the G4 pclink and the included usb drivers I am having trouble maintaining connection to g3 ecu's. Sometimes it will loose connection with the ECU after seconds, other times after a few minutes. Any ideas?
