  1. Just want to add that I would also welcome some more tables, because I'm also using some motorsport functions, and coupling that with knock control, etc, quickly eats up the available tables. I'm very glad to hear it's a firmware limitation, and not a hardware one. That means that, potentially, a future firmware upgrade could make more tables available.
  2. Hi I have searched on the forum, but all the traction control topics are 2+ years old. Are there any plans to implement a traction control system in the future? Paul
  3. How does one hook the Link ignitor to the stock SR20DET coil? My factory diagram shows the factory ignitor switching the + on the coil, yet the Link ignitor diagram shows it must be connected to VE-? Will it make a difference if + or - is triggered on the coil?
  4. Can you perhaps tell us when the CAN bus communication will be enabled? This will be very useful to many people. Paul
  5. OK, it should work fine then. The data logger will just be configured to display the correct speed, using the DI stream output. Thanks for the help. I am in South Africa.
  6. I want to use a Race Technology DL1, which will be connected to the G4 via the ECU interface. It requires that speed inputs be square wave. My car has VR wheel speed sensors, which is why I hoped that the G4 would convert the signal for me. So if I understand correctly, I can configure 2 DI's for ground speed and driven speed respectively, and the DL1 will receive a square wave signal from the G4? Nice. Thanks for the reply.
  7. Hi I have two wheel speed sensors reading off VR sensors to my G4 Xtreme. I am in the process of purchasing a dedicated external data logger, and would like to know the following : When those 2 DI (DI#1 and DI#2 in my case) are outputted via the serial interface, do they get sent as sine waves, or are they converted to square waves? I am assuming the G4 converts the sine wave to square wave internally for it's processing, therefore I am hoping that a square wave would get output. Unfortunately I don't have an oscilloscope to test this, hence my question. Thanks Paul
