  1. Just reading up about water injection and noticed the G3 can control nitrous or water injection. What section does this? I want to spray a mist into the air filter assembly or the inlet tube prior to the supercharger and intend to do so under cruise and high pressure and temp areas. By the way I had a situation on the G 3 under crank where the engine would prop while cranking, which eventually blew the starter. What was happening was the minimum trigger volts for my reluctor ignition were too low and the EMF from the starter and ignition leads, while the engine was running, was generating a false reading. The indicator for this was picked up on the running graphs as a volt spike and a very high, ie. 56040 rpm. I now run a 1.5 min with 3 volt at 1000rpm which stops the engine fan spiking the G3 at idle.I went up in 0.5 volt increments from 1000 rpm waiting for the telltale spike in engine revs. You would be surprised at the little bumps and misfires that are generated by this low volt trigger setting.
  2. Am I right in stating that, The numbers for CRANK, POST START and WARM UP ENRICHMENT are Indicative of, A percentage of, the percentage of the maximum injector pulse rate?
  3. Is it possible to use the Lambda Link with a wide band sensor as an accurate mobile exhaust sensor?
  4. Thanks for putting in a high speed engine fan output in the last update but, why does the link run the A/C fan without regard for whether the A/c is on or off? I have under great duress fitted a bloody TPS now, te he, with a faster running supercharger I have gone from 0.1 bar to 0.6 at 1500 rpm! Te he. Stewart
  5. OK. I have an NTC for coolant now. With the IAT what sort of difference does it make in the overall scheme of things having a rapid response to air temp changes.
  6. When I was a lad an NTC sensor decreased it's resistance with heat, is this still so in todays terminology, or the reverse? My two sensors do in fact increase with temp, I interpolate from 90' to 150' yet at room temp of 17' the guage reads 150'. Any ideas?
  7. I have mapped out my ECT and IAt which are both PTC sensors. Loading this data into Link G3 all I get is a reading of max temp when the sensor is at room temp. If the G3 will take any sensor and I do not have an earth fault, what do you reckon is happening? The row graph is smooth and my measurments accurate.
  8. Just downloaded G3.ver 3.0 and I don't want to run a TPS yet. How do I turn Anolog No. 3 off?
  9. Ok, ok, ok. I have a simple screw (some say I have a screw loose) adjustable idle up solenoid connected in parallel to the A/C compressor. If I have the screw opening out to max, will the G3 pulse the solenoid like an injector to change the opening time? Will the G3 pulse this solenoid so that it can control the max preset idle speed, or will it just activate it prior to a programmed load being activated, like A/C, engine fan or drive? Does Link Pty Ltd compensate new owners of the G3, for the total irrevellence of my low gear, now that I have such control over the tune and boost? 1st used to stretch out to 60 kph, now it goes to 60 so fast, and pulls so hard in second, I change out of Ist as soon as I can! Stewart
  10. The fan is loud, it turns out a resistor is available to run in series from Davies Craig, so I'll wire that in for A/C only. The G3 , once I got my old mechanics head around the "computor nerd generation" instructions, works an absolute treat! I get enquiries about it each week, maybe I can sell and install one for profit soon! Please don't take offence at "computor nerd".
