  2. Hi Customer has brought me an EVO 8 to fit a plugin G4+ and he has fitted an Innovate MTX-D Oil Pressure / Temp gauge. He's not keen on fitting "more sensors" to the car, so wants us to use the gauge output... Easy you say? Well no... It's not got analogue outs! Only the MTS Data stream. So, I'm guessing the MTS stream is not able to be input to the G4+, therefore I need to piggy back the pressure and temp sensors. Anybody done this? Any tricks needed?
  3. Hi Anybody here using the AIM GPS08 module with the AIM MXS 1.2 Dash? Did it literally plug in and work? No configuration etc?
  4. And as another FYI: R56 Cooper models are port injection. R56 Cooper S turbo models are DI.
  5. Oooooo. Yes please. I need part number, bolt pattern, ID, OD, connector type and what car they fit. I’ve noticed the VAG ones seem to all hVe same part number except for an additional letter on the end.

  12. Hi guys. Can anybody recommend a decent ethrottle body in 56-60mm? That’s internal size, not the size of the hose. I know VW/Audi have one but can’t find which one it is - part number specifically. Thanks in advance
  13. Ideally 2x rear and 1x front yes. A basic system will work fine with 1x rear and 1x front
  14. Yeah - need a front and rear wheel speed. Careful not to have too many teeth on the wheel triggers though... Soon run out of frequency capability if you have 40+teeth. Depending on how fast you want to go, and how accurate you need wheel speeds, I'd go for 8-10 teeth ideally.

  16. Yeah - just realised we have a spurious CAN Lambda which has(had) and ID of 1000, which genuinely threw me for a bit!
  17. The MXS has a default CAN ID of 1000. Out of interest... What if you have a CAN Lambda and MXS on the same CAN Module? Both have an ID of 1000.

  20. I know that some OEMs have EMAP sensors. I have to assume that they are only diesels then with lower EGT? Certainly never seen a length of tube / canister on a car as OE...

  22. There is a limit to the amount of data the dash will receive and we have reached the limit!
  23. Currently we support a race car that used to run a complete Motec M1 setup with dash, PDM, ECU etc etc. He's now got a Fury installed instead of the M130. Engine is running much better... But... Logging is now a massive pain! Essentially we log all of the engine data and as much as we can via CAN, but we have run out of channels and can't overlay engine data onto a circuit map, so the result is we use MoTec's i2 for viewing data against track maps. The problem with this is we can't get all of the data into the dash from the Fury! So we have to use 2 different log analysis programs... If Link could implement GPS data I think that would be absolutely awesome. In this case, we could probably move the car over to the Link (AIM) Dash as well and not use i2 at all.

    Master fuel issues

    What do you mean happy? You can chose any master fuel size you wish and then tune the main fuel table to suit. Ideally you want the fuel table to show around "50" at 100KPA Absolute (0KPA MGP) amd arpund 4000RPM.
