Ideally 2x rear and 1x front yes.
A basic system will work fine with 1x rear and 1x front

Yes - that will be fine.

    Thanks,
I drilled a sensor today and tried it before and after. No difference at all when using a 10-8mm stud and 8mm hole, or using an M10 bolt and drilled sensor.
Same knock levels, same background noise etc etc.

There is a limit to the amount of data the dash will receive and we have reached the limit!

Has this been confirmed as correct?
Also, I agree with Mark (AbbeyMS) that we need the ability to alter +/- Fuelling separately...
There are some really basic ECUs out there that offer different +/- trims...

The proportional for the 1JZ vvt mode is 6.0 when set to default PID mode.  This works ok for most 1J/2J's but I have seen a couple recently need lower P.  I dont know if it is related to wear of the hardware, oil viscosity/pressure, or some other variable.

Grant Baker got a reaction from Kazu in 1991 R32 GTR - No spark, ECU disconnects
This is a REALLY common issue. Every single S15 plugin and 90% of GTR Plugins have this problem.
We get round it in one of 2 ways -
    1) use the power from pin 45 to fire a relay which has battery power supplying pins 49/59
    2) just use pin 45 to connect to pin 49/59.
Never a problem on OEM ECUs but is on plugins. I have reported this and it is being looked into by Dave@Link in the UK.

    Hi
It would be useful in the Triggers tab in Runtime Values to show whether the Ignition and Injection outputs are firing.
    For example -
Ignition 1 - Not Active / Attempting to Start / Running
    Injector 1 - Pre-crank Prime / Not active / Attempting to start / Running

    Hi,
Just an idea... It would be great if there was a way of searching for what a DI controls.
For example, you have a DI x set to activate Boost. You may want it to do other things and have it activating a less agressive traction control, alternative fuel map etc.
A simple "Search" for DI x shows all the things that DI x is assigned to?

Would be good if you can pack a additional paper to the ECU package, to get sure customers are aware. Because such things means always diagnosis time for us tuners which nobody want pay for. Think is a much easier task from your side to pack a letter to the ECU, which descrips the situations that the pinout will be updated only on the next firmware release.

Grant Baker got a reaction from Davidv in Pot Tuning Box
    Hi
Another one from another brand of ECU that I find useful (Omex / DTA)...
An external box that plugs into the Laptop that allows you to alter fuel / ignition in the cells you are currently in, then "enter" them into the map. So you can quickly turn a knob to get the fuel and timing how you want it very very quickly.

Great thing about this is that you can assign the knobs to various parameters, like fuel, ignition, boost, injection timing etc etc.
Who else thinks this would be a great tool for tuning the Link?
    Cheers, Grant

We would need to see a log to confirm but I'm highly suspicious that your issue is trigger error.
The Nissan 360 trigger works ok on relatively stock engines when all mechanical parts are in good condition, however they become much less useful in heavily modified engines, or when parts of the CAS drive become worn.  Heavier valve springs, more aggressive cam shafts and extended/higher RPM means there is much more torsional vibration on the camshaft drive and since the "slots" are only 1 deg wide it doesnt take much of a "shake" to cause trigger error.
If you want to run an RB engine to 9000RPM you should have a proper crank trigger.  You may get away with one of the aftermarket "24 slot" discs but really they are still not ideal.

    Hi
Would like the ability to produce a power graph  / torque graph from a logged run.
It can be done with a 3rd party piece of software (Virtual Dyno), so don't see why it isn't possible within PC Link?
If the correct vehicle data is entered appropriately then it should be pretty accurate...

If you wanted to train up a new employee and get them the basics of engine tuning without spending hours with them first...Would you sign them up to HP Academy or EFI University?
Both seem good and personally I like the HPA seminars etc.
    Any opinions?

From our end we certainly have more to do with HPA and they are focused on online learning.
EFI University has been around longer but have not had any direct dealings with them.

The Delphi coils are direct equivalents for the Denso 02240 coils- so same plugs, shape and wiring  buuuuuttt they're easier to get hold of (for me) and as a further bonus, are cheaper.
    Edit:
I received a response from Delphi regarding dwell times for their GN10312 coils (Denso 02229 equivalents) and they are:
