  1. I want to install a relay and use one AUX output to provide + to its coil. The manual says i need to use a load with 'much' greater resistance than 100 ohm or the relay will not turn off with this setup. The coil on my relay is 150 ohm. Will this work?
  2. As they are high impedance you do not need resistors. Thats for LOW ohm injectors.
  3. I may on one day map my boost map and get a perfect say 240kpa through the revs. The next day i drive the car i may hit my boost limit at 255kp the second i get in the 'zone'. Or get only 220kpa on the third day. This without touching the map in between. I use MAP vs RPM axis`s which should resemble some sort of poor mans closed loop BC. Anyone got any suggestions on this one? Or better yet, get the freakin CL BC feature done!
  4. Also i se the pcl says its a 6 cyl engine. This correct? if so , the fireing order correct for it? Also you got your first 4 injectors setup as peak and hold injectors. 5 and 6 is set as saturated. Need to get this sorted. Also there is no AIT setup. Dont need it to start, but need it anyway. Do the engine have an idle solenoid? or is it using the E-Throttle to control idle? Well taht was my second look at it...
  5. Hi Chris. The first thing that strikes me when i open the file is that the Engine coolant temp shows 96*c Is this a cold engine? If so you are not getting any crank enrichment. I then notice there are no ECT sensor in the Analog temp section. You need one! You could also turn on the pre crank feature to get more fuel on the first rev. The throttle possition sits at 7,5% I guess its not calibrated correctly yet. Hense the fault code i suppose. Also turn AFR correction ON. Makes the thing easier to tune. Have you calibrated your timing with a light? Well thats the things that gets my attention on the first overwiev...
  6. So are the ECU now able to read the raw sensor signal? Or do one still need a 0-5V conversion between the ECU and the sensor? Im guessing the first but just to be sure...
  7. Try to disconnect the ECU and only feed it power and ground when upgrading. This to rule out any possible current backfeeding.
  8. Nice.. Thanks! Got another Q for you. I posted this on another forum but did not recive any answers yet. (after all it IS a weekend right now..) I`ll just copy and paste it: Im thinking of getting Zeitronics flexfuel setup. This got a 0-5v output. My ecu is the Link G4 xtreme. I dont want to use two separate maps where one is for pure pump gas and one is for E85. I want them to 'merge' based on the 0-5V input. Now how would i do this? Im thinking to tune the car on pump gas for the main map. and then maybe use the 4D map table with sensor voltage vs. MAP axis for E85 correction. Will this be sufucient? should i i.e. use voltage vs. RPM instead? Is the fuel requirement for E85 vs. pumpgas linear? MAP vs RMP wise...
  9. Hi folks. I want to use 3 boostmaps. First and second is low and high boost. Im using DI5 to switch to the second map and that works fine. But the 3. map.. I want to use this for E85 and use even higher boost here. The way i want to switch this map on is: DI5 on AND a volt limit from a AN input (volt input is a 0-5 volt ethanol sensor) So i thought i would use one of the viritual aux`s as a GP output to manage this. But the 'switch cond' dropdown menu do not contain DI5 (or any other Di`s) What it does contain however is a 'DI value ON/OFF'. Do i just use this and set the 'switch value' to 5??
