had a look at the calibration. The wastegate duty tables are rather low for trying to hit 28-30 psi. This will need tuning to sort this out. Not just gear trim adjustment. There is also a digital input that I'm assuming is supposed to be an ethanol content sensor but is only configured as gp input. This input is switching between 2 wg duty tables. But the values in both tables are rather low for a 15psi spring trying to hit 28-30 psi.

Also could you give us a little more info on the set up? Such as turbo size, wastegate size, and how the wastegate is plumbed.
  3. That would be "cam pluse 1x" If it were one tooth that spanned about 1/2 the way around, that would be cam level. As for rising or falling, I would start with rising. Once you get to cranking the engine, I would do a scope trace and if the rising edge of the cam signal happens at the same time as crank edge then switch to falling. With hall sensors it really doesn't matter unless one side is dirty/has some weird shape or happens at the same time as the trigger edge on the crank. And with the 60-2, the cam pulse cannot occur within the missing tooth or 30deg after it.
  4. Most hall will use rising edge trigger, but can also be falling. Depends primarily on where the pattern falls in relation to crank pattern. As for sync mode, will most likely be cam pulse 1x if just a single tooth. but would need to see what the trigger wheel looks like to know for sure.

Could you please post a copy of your calibration and log showing the issues? And what is the base spring pressure on the wastegate?
  6. simply change the cam position selection from hall to reluctor and sync timing to suit.
  7. reduce the amount of ignition cut in the sequential shift settings.
  8. in the aux out, where you select the function, simply select "purge"
  9. The IGF signal back to the ecu from the ignitor is not needed. The factory oil pressure sender is simply an oil pressure switch to activate the oil pressure light in the cluster and will not do much for you with the ecu. I would recommend replacing the switch with a 3 wire sensor that outputs a 0-5v signal. You could then use a spare aux out from the ecu to control the lamp in the dash at whatever pressure setting you would like.

Glad you got it sorted out Idris. But if you would like to get better information from the members of the forum, it would help if you supplied a bit more information with your questions. Different engine combinations sometimes benefit from different settings. And with your rather vague post, there is not much to go on to give you good suggestions. I hope this helps with your further posts on this forum. Have a nice day.

need more info than "help me set up drift car" What car. What engine. Also post a copy of your current config.
  12. One wire to switched +12V the other to one of the Aux out on the ecu
  13. that ought to do the trick.
  14. This is what i was thinking. I believe you can even use an electronic sender from later "W" series gear boxes.
  15. based on the profile pic, I'm assuming that the car is an AW11 mr2. IF that is the case I'm fairly certain that it is a mechanical speedo to the dash and there is an electronic converter in the cluster.
  16. I use the closed loop control on a very regular basis. It will take a bit a adjustment via the PID values to get it optimal.
  17. I just checked. The G4+ will still support the display link.
  18. which display is it? is it the dash2pro unit or the displaylink. I want to say that they both should work when upgrading to the g4+ but may be mistaken.

As far as a base calibration, there is one in the "Base Maps" file that is downloaded with the link software. What needs to be changed, you will have to wire in individual coils and modify the wiring to suit. The pinout for the ecu is also in the help file in the software.
  20. I have also done this on my ae86 Toyota corolla. It does work.
  21. Nope. The PNP stop at 2007. The GR chassis has a ton of CAN bus.
  22. The dealer needs to support the product that he sells. He should be the one to get you the unlock code. The reason the ecus are shipped locked is to prevent use if theft has occurred. If the dealer is not willing to supply you with an unlock code, you will need to email [email protected] and file a formal complaint with the head office.
  23. Have you tried to reach out to the dealer who supplied?
  24. One of the easiest things to do would be to fit the gm ls coils on the fender well and make custom plug wires.
