Hi, Why the injectors with less than 2 ohms needs less ballast resistors ( 2.2 ohm) than the injectors on the 2 to 6 ohms range ( 4.7 ohm) ballast ?

Are you sure is detonation , are you logging knock or is audible from the cockpit ? Maybe the engine is rattle at 3000 rpm or misfire problems .... only to be sure what you are talking about .
