  1. Thanks Adam, will do so!
  2. Hi Adam, Sorry yes it's a plug-in G4+ so to use the front wheel speed sensors I connect to the OEM wheel sensors? Do you have details? Thanks!
  3. Hello guys, hope all are doing well with this massive virus that hurting all of us badly. I wanted to know if somebody has any experience what is needed to install the G4+ traction control system, not sure if it works with the stock ABS sensors or needs a new set to make it work. Thanks a lot!

    G4+ Supra 2JZ PNP

CJ I forgot to write, I tried this: Try changing the polarity of aux2 to high and see if the problem get better/worse. The ECU got all crazy, pump instantly shut down and got checksum error and wouldn't let me revert, pump was dead, removed battery and all clear I was able to put low and save. I simply turned off the fuel pump control as client is nervous of me tweaking the fuel pump controller and messing something up, so for now no cuts, all good to redline.

I totally understand you now, I will do the tests just as you have explained to figure out how it works even if i don't have any use for extra pump. Thanks for your time your explanation is perfectly clear.

    G4+ Supra 2JZ PNP

Thanks CJ, I find it a bit odd that it doesn't work properly from the get go but I assume it is because many used different aftermarket pumps, I just raised the crossover to 7500 and I am clear without any hiccups, but of course I am not sure what it will happen when boost is created until tested. I tried to find out what exactly does the parameters do on the help file but nothing to be found.

    G4+ Supra 2JZ PNP

CJ, right on the money, I changed the parameters until today as I hadn't received the AEM UEGO so installed it and setted it up. this is what I did the cutover and the DC crossover and now the same thing as before happens but at 5000 rpm

    G4+ Supra 2JZ PNP

Thanks for the pointer CJ and Simon, The car has an NTK AFR display but I haven't been able to get the output to work so I ordered an AEM one to be sure I can work with it. The AFR goes to lean when i do the WOT. The strange thing is that the fuel pump was working fine before changing the ECU as I drove it from clients house to my office, I haven't checked fuel pressure but I will get it checked. Other thing I am having issues with is the AIT, I installed the IATB Bosch sensor is 4°c above ambient or ECT and i haven't figured if there is a way to calibrate it. I attach my actual version just in case I need some type of firmware update.

    G4+ Supra 2JZ PNP

hi guys, installed the G4 pnp unit on a 1994 Supra US model manual transmission, calibrated tps and started perfectly adjusted a bit the AFR and the idle control and it starts hot or cold perfectly, but as soon as I start pressing the gas pedal the revs start to oscillate, afr jumps around and no way to make it accelerate standing still, I checked if there was any protection on and everything is off tried to check everything and nothing makes sense, any ideas would be helpful, as of course with stock ECU no issues. 1994 Supra 2JZ Manual Stock Engine, HKS intercooler full exhaust.
  12. here you go adam. so I left on channel 11 what I found on the software no tampering which is a lambda 1 with a "default" table, I added on channel 12 the aem wideband I have, but it displays lambda not afr so I suppose the table needs to be changed. WRX map AEM lambda active.pclr
  13. Hello everybody, I ordered the expansion loom to be able to connect an AEM wideband to the Link WRX104+ got the loom today and checking wiring I see there is an issue. Instructions say this: AN11 or AN12 Checked pinout now I see that lambda 1 is at AN11, and coincidentally it doesn't behave properly cannot see it move or change from 7.44 AFR. Could this be the issue?
  14. Hello all, I made a discovery today and just want to clear up what is going on, I did throttle setup and calibration and at first it made a setpoint at 15.1, started the engine and it revved to 3,000 rpm. Shut it down and calibrated again and it shown a 14.2, tried again almost the same high idle rev. So I checked the e-throttle target table and lowered it to 4.0 the first three rows and it behaved better around 1100rpm or so. So my question is this normal as it's a pnp system thought it could behave differently. Thanks for the input!

    WRX104 -- AEM IAT

Hello everybody, just bought a WR104 for a 2004 STI 2.5 which had cobb accesport with SD flash, so i am re-using the MAP sensor (which is already working perfectly) and the AEM 30-2010 IAT wired to the MAF connector, I need some help filling up CAL TABLE (not sure if I use CAL1 or 2) and the correct information as I can't find it anywhere, help will be greatly appreciated. 18. Hello everybody, finished installing a Quaife sequential box on the project Celica GT3 I take care off and installed a Holinger Shift cut gearknob HGK-S which has an analog and digital output and I used the analog to connect to an analog input on the Storm, I programmed it and the first issue it throws out a over voltage and under voltage error, I tried playing with the values and the error continues, so I simply didn't care about it. Then I turned on the options on the setup everything is clear for the top part, gear lever force I placed 100 on the gradient to be able to see the force increase on live view (N) and tried to setup with upshift force at a value of 50 after seeing the max value around 180, this is a NDBW throttle so we are just interested on the cut to be on the upshit the other setting we placed at the max -500 so it cannot be reached driver will do the blip and it didn't work we tried it and never made the cut I think the issue is on the tables, anybody could help me out. thanks!
  19. Hello guys, I wanted to know how accurate the internal barometric sensor on the Storm is and if it comes enabled from factory or you need to enable it, I ask because the racetrack where the car is raced changes climate, weather and barometric pressure fluctuates around the day so on previous ECU (AFC) I had to do a bit of minor changes each test, qualy and race day, the storm is installed on a Starlet 4EFTE engine with a 3.5 bar AEM Map sensor. thanks everybody

    Help with can setup

Thanks Scott, would this provide a value in kmh? on my G4+ I have just seen CAN2 on the can module window so I assume there should be no issue. I had received this info prior to the one I shared before: The ECU needs to be able to receive information on CAN, and it needs to be programmable to where you can enter the following: ID: 0x560h or 1376 Length:16 bit Offset: 0 Factor: 0.015625 m/s per bit Range: 0..100m/s Unsigned, Intel / LSB / little endian alignment Your ABS unit is 500kbps CAN rate. Your ECU will need to be configured to match this bus speed. So that should fill everything up correctly

    Help with can setup

Hi everybody, sorry I didn't provide serial number but I don't have the number near, I will edit such information tomorrow. i have just installed a G4+ on a Toyota Celica built for circuit racing and the car has the Bosch Motorsports ABS system which has the ability to share some information via CAN, I need to setup the 4 wheel speed to be able to start playing with the both the boost by speed and at the same time with traction control, I got some help with the people over at Bosch and got this information, I will be trying to set it up tomorrow, but they ask me something that I don't have a clue as this is my first time setting up a Link ecu. This is what I got: Stream 1 -> single frame only: "add parameters" for a total of four parameters: Parameter = LF Wheel Speed Start position = 0 Width = 16 Byte order = LS First Type = Unsigned Multiplier = 45 Divider = 8 Offset = 0 Parameter = RF Wheel Speed Start position = 16 width/byte/type/multiplier/divider/offset = same as above Parameter = LR Wheel Speed Start position = 32 width/byte/type/multiplier/divider/offset = same as above Parameter = RR Wheel Speed Start position = 48 width/byte/type/multiplier/divider/offset = same as above If you have a problem with the units translating incorrectly, it's most likely because of the multiplier and divider. I don't know what the Link ECU uses for units - m/s, km/h, km/min, etc... You might have to check with Link for the unit translation. Thanks all for your help! Sama
