  1. hi guys, i have a caldina intake manifold and throttlebody on my st205 celica. i followed the online instructions to wire it in but my car wont idle adrian gt4 1bar fuelling nearly there.pclr
  2. I'd be interested in seeing how people have the display page set up
  3. Had a bit of time today so had a quick look at how it'll look before dismantling the Dock to remove the gaming controllers
  4. I have installed pc link on to the tablet and started to have a play about with some layouts. It seems the pc link software runs really slow when the tablet I'd in tablet mode so Im running it in desktop mode this means you'll need a separate keyboard to input anything (I just bought a small Bluetooth one that has a track pad off ebay) I've yet to mount it on the dash as I've not had much time I'll try this weekend
  5. I'm picking up my linx vision 8 tomorrow hopefully I'll be able to mount it in front of the double din slot using the Dock that comes with the tablet
  6. Perfect, The tablet I've gone for is a linx vision 8. It's some gaming streaming tablet thing comes with a dock that has a game controller built in to the sides, I recon I'll be able to remove the controller and mount the Dock where the stereo is in my gt4
  7. I've got a windows tablet coming that has otg capability, from what I've been told I need to run a powered USB hub. My only concern with running a powered usb hub to charge the tablet and connect to the ecu is the powered hub will most likely send power down the ecu tuning lead. Would that effect the ecu if it was plugged in to a powered hub?
  8. I'm looking at putting a windows tablet in my car to run pc link. The tablet I'm looking to buy is powered/charged by the micro USB. Would the USB tuning cable be able to power the tablet or will I have to look at powering it a different way. Shame there isn't an android version of pc link or even an app where we could have buttons to activate functions like high boost, anti lag, launch.
  9. If you can help me out bud then that will be great, I really want to run dbw on the new engine
  10. It's definitely not a common mod on the mr2/celica I'm doing a complete engine conversion with a custom manifold so would like to have e-throttle to make things neater
  11. If it keeps the warranty then I'm prepared to send it back to you guys,
  12. I am in the UK mate, I've been told that the ecu need modification to be able to run aux 9 and 10?
  13. in the help file it mentions an e throttle module but i cant find where to get one
  14. i'm having a new intake manifold made for my project gt4 and was thinking of going drive by wire throttle body if its possible on my link plug in ecu, ive tried searching but cant find any info
  15. sorry to drag this up again but I was looking on the pin outs and the inputs and there's no listing for the knock sensor allthough on the st205 ecu plug its pin 42 I believe? ive read that its best to upgrade to a bosh type donut sensor?
  16. Do you have a link to the type I'd solid state relay I need?
  17. With you mentioning amps, I've just got the info on the solenoid: 57w / 4.75 amp draw (AEM, Coolingmist, snow controllers will need to run through a relay) Will I need to run a relay to run this solenoid?
  18. Bit of a reproach to this subject. The past few weeks i've been ironing out my map as the fuelling when the car cam back from the mappers was all over the place so had all that sorted. Now i'm ready to get the WMI set up and running. The equipment I have is: 150psi pump, water meth specific solenoid, solid state relay, aem nozzle for engine up to 400bhp, My thinking is have the pump wired through the relay and have the ecu power it up at a set boost say 0.7 bar (so its not running all the time) and have the solenoid controlled by a gp pwm output which will be setup to progressively increase duty as the boost increases. Does this make sense? Ive also been thinking about putting a 200psi pressure sensor in the feed line to the nozzle and setting up a possible failsafe? maybe a pressure window of say 120psi to 160psi if it falls below or goes above that window the ecu pulls the boost? is that something that can be done?

    3sgte COP

I setup and wired my cop conversion then I set it up in the ecu (dwell tines and so on) got it running and idling then I took the car to be dyno tuned but it wasn't a very good tune and I've been trimming the fuel as it was just too rich
  20. Sorted thanks for the help, soldered a 1k resistor and now I have a rev counter

    3sgte COP

I converted my celica st205 recently its pretty straightforward to do, I made my own loom for the 1zz coils, I did have to offset the timing by 360 degrees to get it to run though
  22. I've Diss assembled my tach ready for the resistor to turn up is it the ig- wire I need to splice the signal from the link to Do I need to add the 0.56k pull up one in this picture?
