  1. Hi Vaughan Yes I have since changed that to 2 from Adams recommendation, however now when I press the TB button the TB solenoid is rapidly turning on and off and stops when I release the button. I don't know why this is happening.
  2. Hi Peeps I need someone to check my wiring diagram and tune to see if my trans brake and bump are set up correctly. it is wired to a SSR with Aux 8 used and Di2 TB and Di4 for bump. I have an on off switch along the Di2 wire so I can switch it off when street driving. When I press the TB button it activates the tb solenoid erratically on and off and dont know why this is happening. any help is appreciated, cheers. 23rd Sept Springmount tune Trans brake.pclr

  4. OK I have noticed with my two new sensors that there is only 5 wires and not 6! the colour missing is the Green wire which LINK suggest connecting to the MES pin on plug C? Am I missing something (other than the green wire :)) I have also configured the Lambda 1 and Lamba 2 but not getting a reading on the runtime values page, there are no error codes either. Any help appreciated.
  5. I have an O2 sensor for each side of the engine (only2) I have configured the AN as per instruction. When you double click on Lamba 1 for example and you have to choose a corresponding title to it there is no LSU 4.9 on the drop down list, so what would I select?
  6. Hi everyone I am in the middle of setting up the two sensors for each side of my 5.3L LS V8. I have set up the C plug with the wires and now need to configure the PCLink. Do I just set Lambda 1 to AN volt 10 and Lambda 2 to AN volt 11? is there a anything else I need to do? thanks in advance.

  8. Hi admin I have just built a twin turbo LS engine. I have already got a Vipec V88 in my drag car which managed my other race engine V6. I require a base map so I can start this set up and have it ready for the dyno. My LS is an iron block 5.3Litre Gen4 and it has a 58 tooth reluctor.

Hi Adam on the weekend I went to the drags with my car and had some major issues with my 2 step and bump box, the problem I was having was as I would stall up on the trans brake followed by 1 or 2 bumps, once releasing the trans brake button the revs would fall over and would not allow me to rev past say 1500-2000 revs! This kept happening as I would roll away from the start lights and after say 3 seconds It would let me accelerate upwards. Another example was if I hit the trans brake button for the second time while staging it would not let me rev up again. It seems something in the back ground is staying on? Hi Adam I did some testing today with my car and at the moment the transbrake is working, the 2 step is working, the bump button is clicking the solenoid but the car is not bumping forward at all. Can you tell how to get to the window that has the 100 and 50 figure so I can make those adjustments, the window in your example is named AUX 1 GP PWM DC (%1 Bump Increment) Cheers

  13. Was just curious to know that now I have my transbrake and bumpstop set up, is there a function to set up a 2 step for drag racing applications and if so can I have some details please. Thanks in advance
  14. Thanks again Adam It seems to be working with both buttons clicking the transB solenoid, I'll be trying it out on the track this weekend, if I need to make some adjustments where do I find the page with the info?

  17. Hi Adam Ive finally had time to try this setup on my Vipec and have a few questions: the buttons on my steering wheel are connected and signals working on the run time values page. At the moment its not working 100% due to the PC settings I assume. My questions are; does it matter that Im using Di2 for trans brake and Di4 for the bump box, I have attached a page photo of the settings done so far and need these checked please
  18. Hi Peeps looking for advice on setting up a bump box on my Vipec V88 ecu for my drag car, I currently have a trans brake operated manually away from the ecu. Car is twin turbo and running 9s down the quarter but have to sit at staging and spool up, so now need bump box set up to be competitive.
  19. Hi Adam just want it to shift during a run on the track. You've raised some good points too so looking for any recommendations you might suggest for a drag car application.
  20. Hi there, is there a written set up on activating the data logger to switch on at certain revs etc so I don't have to do it manually before a run down the quarter mile, cheers.
  21. Hi peeps I have bought a Shifnoid gear shift solenoid for my powerglide drag car and want to set up my Vipec V88 to shift into 2nd at a preselected rev range. What input wire do I use? AUX? and what in the ECU do I go into to set up rev range shifting, Thanks in advance.
