  1. Hi! Thanks for your feedback! I currently have stronger fans then the stock fans. they are now connected to the stock wiring but when then turn on the battery voltage drop hard briefly which sometime kill's the engine. The idea of the mazda controller is that it had as soft start build in. which, hopefully, does not create the hard battery voltage drop. Any other way to get rid of the hard voltage drop is also appreciated. The fan is have use 20amp each( i have 2) and i suspect that the stock wiring (and ipdm, which controls the fans) are not up for the task. Kind regards! Vincent
  2. Hi there! I have a 350z link(based on the g4+ as far as i know) and want to use pwm control on a mazda fan controller. for this i wanted to use the expansion connector 1 aux (14 and 15) for this. But from what i can find in the documentation if it looks like i can only use aux 1 to 8 to use pwm. It this correct? I wanted to use one aux to switch a relay to power the fan controller. and the second aux to use pwm for controlling the fan speed. It this possible? Maybe there are other way's to accomplish this setup? Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance! Kind regards, Vincent
  3. The fix for me(thanks to Adam's input) was to start the ABS computer a bit later. This can be done by adding a relay between te power wire of the ABS computer and let the ECU switch the relay so that the ABS computer gets power cycled. Hope this helps. Kind regards, Vincent
  4. Hi there! I have a question regarding a lean spike a always get when getting on the throtle. This is either on an heigh TP delta or low. On heigh delta the eccel enrichment picks up the lean spike but on a low TP delta and low load this lean spike is always there an impacts the driving experience. how do i tune this with the accel enrichment? i tried some settings but this almost always give me an enorm load of fuel. Hope to get some guidance here. Thanks a lot! The car is a nissan 350z running an build engine with twin turbos. id1000 injectors. Kind regards, Vincent EDIT: i cant seem to add my tune to the post.
  5. Hi there! As the title suggested the engine always dies after the first time starting cold. it starts quite crisp. i have been playing around with the crank enrichtment(increase and decrease) and the post start enrichtment(increase and decrease) but i cant seem to find the sweet spot. Car runs fine the second time and will start ok when the engine is hot. Maybe you guy's have some insight over this. Thanks in advance! 6. ahh yes, that did the trick for me. Thanks!
  7. Hi there! Sorry for awakening an old topic but i have the same widebands and i dont seem to be able to do what the clip is showing. In the 'analog inputs' i only seem to have assigned AN Volt's(I will attach my tune). I dont seem to have just a 'Lambda1' from which i seem to be able to select its source. Im using a g4+ plugin for a nissan 350z. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance! Kind regards! Vincent 350z coupe 18-11-2021-002.pclr
  8. Hi there, Maybe you have some insight in this. I see knock trim while the noise is not exceeding the threshold. In the attached example you see that cyl 5 does exceed the threshold but all cylinders show a trim. You guy's have some insight on this? An other question, while im at it: on a warm start(ECT:90C) the engine is running lean for a short period of time(2 mins) which is normal. Is there any way to compensate for this? Thanks a lot! Kind regards
  9. @Adamw Do you have the information to get the ABS going on my 350Z? Kind regards, Vincent

    350z dual wideband

Yes i was thinking about that but with just 1 rewire i will achieve the same result without any purchase. If the rewire does not does the trick i will go the CAN way. Thanks for your reply! Kind regards, Vincent

    350z dual wideband

Hi there! Is there a way to feed 2 wideband signals into the 350ZLINK? Currently i use the expansion loom for 1 5 volt input (AN volt 8). But i see on the wideband controller(Innovate DLG-1) that the banks differ a lot. I see the software on the ecu supports it but i see no other 5 volt input. You guy's have any idea? Kind regards, Vincent

    vq35de vvt

Hi there! I always have gotten really great support here so i hoped some of you could help me out with the current issue at hand. Im working on a Nissan 350z with an G4+. The car is driving so i decided to check out all the settings and values once more. I found out that the vvt is not receiving any signal from trigger 2. The vq has a combined trigger signal with the POS and CPS. I have tries some, imho, logical changes but i seem to get a signal error from the solenoids. Some of you here know whats going on? What am i doing wrong? Hope you can help me out. Kind regards, Vincent 350 coupe new 08-09-2018001.pclr Log 2018-09-8 11;47;38 am.llg
  16. Hi there! I wanted to report back, it seemed that the timing caused by the traction control(which i by accident left unconfigured) was the culprit. Car runs fine currenlty! Really thanks a lot for the super input! Kind regards
  17. Hi there! Thanks a lot for the feedback. I really appreciate your help a lot. i have done the TPS calibration a couple of times while starting on this car. I will do this again just to make sure its right. For as far as the traction control: i have to say i really forgot about this. I had the traction lights on and tried to get them off. So i set traction control to on but never got the change to fill in any data correctly. I will turn traction control off and give it a go later today when i am in my shop. Realy thanks a lot and i will report back asap! Kind regards
  18. Hi there, I hope you guys can help me out with the problem i'm facing and i dont seem to be able to figure it out. Im working on getting the tune on the car. but when i starting driving on the car i found out that the car stalls while driving and the clutch is pressed. What am i overlooking? With this postthe file and the logs in where the car stalls 2 times. Hope you can help me out! Kind regards! Log 2018-07-13 12;44;03 pm.llg 350 coupe new 13-07-2018001.pclr
  19. Hi there! Thanks for your reply! I will look into the pulse adders. Thanks for pointing those out! The flat fuel table is just to get the engine to start and this was the ballpark figure. I will indeed need to add sensible data. I was afraid the oscillating i had in the other car came back so i asked for help. for now i will stick to traditional. I was curious how the calculation of the right amount of fuel was calculated without entering the fuel pressure. And indeed i was holding my foot on the AP just a litle bit. i will update the idle base table until the foot on the AP is not necessary. Thanks a lot this far! Will try this later in the evening and will get back here with the outcome! Kind regards!
  20. Hi there, I joined a couple of days ago and after seeing other people getting great help i decided to post my current challenge. I switched ECU from Haltech to Link on a previous car of mine. Car ran fine with the exception of oscillating rpm's during idle. Never found the time to fix it . Now i have another car, also a Nissan 350z with a new build on it, and using the same Link ECU. I created a new map which currently is still bare but just enough to start up. Right after startup i see the same oscillating coming back. Maybe you guy's know whats going on? I have the assumption that the idle base position table is not holding the right values. Another question which just popped up: for this car i'm using a fuel pressure regulator which is connected to MAP. Can i use traditional fuel equation? im trying to figure out which works best for me. Coming from Haltech where i have to input the fuel pressure and tell the ECU its a MAP referenced fuel pressure. I hope you can advice me? Kind regards! attached the map and log file. Log 2018-05-12 11;42;37 am.llg 350 coupe new 08-05-2018.pclr
