  1. I Just bought a brand new G4+ VLLink / HVLC+ for my manual SL VL Turbo RB30ET and id like to hook up these extras i have purchased : XSL loom, six LS2 coils, LC-2 wide band O2 sensor, boost solenoid, air temps sensor & possibly more. I have looked around and i cant find much at all on doing this. If i could get some advise that would be great. Cheers
  2. The Nissan PnP's have a built in canbus resistor ( normally 1 for 1 end of the canbus trunk, so can we get away when just adding 1 item to the canbus without making a canbus trunk ended with resistor? Would make running the excellent Link cambus lambda a lot easier and quicker. Thanks

    e30 s52 which ECU

I have an e30 with an S52B32 swapped over from an e36 M3. The motor is currently stock, I run a modified OBD2 dme programmed to delete functions and trouble codes that I don't use. The only people who can program this unit are in the states and shipping me DME back and forth with every change I want to do is tedious. I'd like to be able to do this local either with friends (who are experienced with tuning) or on a dyno. You guys sell a plug-in ECU for an M50TUB25 which is like an early version of my engine as far as I know it. From what I can see the DME pinouts are close, but not exact. I'm considering picking this up for the sake of having it fit like oem, but it may take some wiring to make it work anyways in which case I'm wondering if the v88 is a better fit overall. I've already wired my entire engine harness for the swap, I'm not afraid to open the main DME connector and move pins around to match the plug-in setup. My friend has parted out his supercharged Miata and is looking to sell his V88, which is why that's the other option. (The plug-in unit would be cheaper) PS: If I can get onto standalone the mods coming down the pipe are simple things, exhaust (headers and a better system), cams (schrick), and the big one is I'm currently designing an adapter plate to mount the S54B32 independent throttle bodies and plenum to the S52 head.

    Base/startup map

Hi Going to start my bmw m50b29 engine g4+ ecu. Base/Start up map? Best request
  5. Hi There, I am trying to log my ADM S15's vehicle speed using the ECU logging, however when i use the LR wheel speed (DI5) sensor input it comes up with 0. My speedo and everything works with no issues but it seems as though the ECU cannot read my vehicle speed? I have also tried logging using the laptop reading every sensor and all of the listed vehicle speed sensors had no readings. Any suggestions? as this limits some of the gear specific mapping and traction control functions i'd like to look into. Cheers
  6. Hi All, After 8 months of my STi being off the road - finally got it back running a whole lot of new gear (Thanks to Matt Ashley for the Tune). Including the Link G4+. Prior to this I was running another ECU (Aut****) that connected the RS232+, RS232- and negative to an aux jack which went into the ECU. Now that I have the Link G4+ it has a separate CAN/RS232 pin out which you need an adapter for (purchased both CAN/RS232 ECU Adapter, Spare CAN plug and connected both). I have connected/wired the CAN H and CAN L to the AIM CAN + (to H) and CAN - (to L) as per instructions. Set the protocol up (as per AIM instructions) on Software/Link ECU (CAN SETUP) and Race Studio 2. Now - everything on Race Studio seems to be reading correctly after setting it up as a new 'profile'. However, once car is running - data is not being transferred (RPM/Gear/etc). How would I go about this? I'm going to attempt again tonight and re-check solder/wires etc. Regards, Nick.

    G4+ ECU questions

Hi, I'm in the progress of choosing a standalone ECU for my Toyota 3SGTE engine. Basically the engine has upgraded turbo and need to cope with much larger amount of fuel and air. I'm looking for a ECU which is able to support dual fuel map switching with a flip switch, as well as capability to control a (much) larger flow external fuel injector besides the stock ones. I'm wondering could Link G4+ Atom able to do these? if not, what is the model that's recommended? Thanks!

  10. Hi all, I was wondering if the AIM MXL Pista race display works with Link G4+ PnP ecu for Evo 5-8? Thanks already!
  11. I found that Fury's internal lambda controller reading is always 0.5 AFR leaner than LM-2 LSU4.9 and AEM UEGO LSU4.9. The test used two LSU4.9 sensors for 3 devices, sensors were cross swapped during test, same result, updated Fury fw. to 5.4.3, same result. LM-2 and AEM read consistently 0.1 AFR diff. I also compared LM-2 to several other AEMs(no pictures), very same result. I think LM-2 is something can be trusted. Any suggestion?
  12. Hi, I am a new user for the Link G4+ PnP Evo 6 ecu. I downloaded and updated to the new 5.4.3 firmware. I tried to do the ignition timing calibration but for some reason the lock ignition timing feature and the adjustments won't work. Example - I have the runtime values open and the engine is roughly idling 1200-1300 rpm (haven't adjusted the idle yet) and timing is 20-22. When I open the calibration window the timing drops to 0. Ok thats fine but when I change it to 10 - nothing happens. Also when trying to adjust the delay and timing correction - nothing happens. Using a Bosch timinglight with my friend. Any help?
