Can anyone tell me what knock level gains they used for each cylinder of a 3sgte when using a Bosch 2-wire knock sensor? I have everything else set up, but I would feel more sure about myself if I could verify the values that I came up with. I am a beginner in the tuning aspect of things, but very competent on the electrical and programming side of things. When dialing in the knock level gains, I am not confident that I am adjusting for the noisiest rpm of the motor or if it is actual knock. So I don't want to set my gains to low that a knock event doesn't surpass the threshold. Just for reference this is a Gen 2 3sgte (I will take any information from any revision 3sgte) and the knock sensor is a Bosch Motorsports KS4-P.
Hi guys, can anyone confirm if the Bosch 3 wire icv is a solenoid or stepper motor type? I read a few post and some term it as a solenoid and some call it stepper. For the max clamp and min clamp settings, how do we set it? According to help file, they are 2 method mentioned, eg. Max value is the highest idle base plus all idle up values and on another page it says that it should be set 10% more than the highest idle base value. Same goes to min clamp, the help file says should be 10% less than the lowest idle base value and on the setup procedure it was mentioned we should enter the lowest value as in the idle base. Any idea anyone?
Hi everybody, sorry I didn't provide serial number but I don't have the number near, I will edit such information tomorrow. i have just installed a G4+ on a Toyota Celica built for circuit racing and the car has the Bosch Motorsports ABS system which has the ability to share some information via CAN, I need to setup the 4 wheel speed to be able to start playing with the both the boost by speed and at the same time with traction control, I got some help with the people over at Bosch and got this information, I will be trying to set it up tomorrow, but they ask me something that I don't have a clue as this is my first time setting up a Link ecu. This is what I got: Stream 1 -> single frame only: "add parameters" for a total of four parameters: Parameter = LF Wheel Speed Start position = 0 Width = 16 Byte order = LS First Type = Unsigned Multiplier = 45 Divider = 8 Offset = 0 Parameter = RF Wheel Speed Start position = 16 width/byte/type/multiplier/divider/offset = same as above Parameter = LR Wheel Speed Start position = 32 width/byte/type/multiplier/divider/offset = same as above Parameter = RR Wheel Speed Start position = 48 width/byte/type/multiplier/divider/offset = same as above If you have a problem with the units translating incorrectly, it's most likely because of the multiplier and divider. I don't know what the Link ECU uses for units - m/s, km/h, km/min, etc... You might have to check with Link for the unit translation. Thanks all for your help! Sama
Hi I'm using Fury and I am controlling LSU4.9 BOSCH lambda sensor with fury internal lambda sensor controller. I have connected the cables completely as same as the instructions in the Online Help. But I'm receiving these errors. Do you have any suggestions? One thing that I'm worried about is, I'm using +14V(A connector pin 5) as the Ignition +12V input(LSU 4.9 pin 4). I read the instructions of the LSU 4.9 and it says. "Power supply H+ nominal 7.5 V" "System supply voltage 10.8 V to 16.5 V" I don't have 12V output in my ECU so I can only use +14V cable or the +8V cable on the A connector of my Fury ECU.
