  1. Hi I am currently converting my distributor style to coil on plug and wanting to control trigger inputs through a 12 tooth crank wheel with a hall effect sensor and a single pulse cam position with a hall effect sensor. Just wanting to know what the pinout is for both trigger one and trigger 2
  2. Hi, I know I can use existing ign outputs on the standard loom but i'd like to be able to have the coils on their own loom to an xsloom. I already have an xsloom, 1zzfe coils and want to use the triggers in the oem distributor till my engine is build with Caldina crank and cam triggers, I've had a look in pclink but cant see if I can set the outputs to a certain cylinder. Any info or help would be greatly appreciated. Adrian.
  3. Useful guide I found while searching for cop coil pack with built in ignitors http://www.sq-engineering.com/tech-articles/coilpack-info-guide
  4. I've modified My Evo to run sequential [direct] spark with a set of 4x Denso 90919-02229 coil packs from a 1L Toyota Yaris, but I can't find any information on the dwell times to adjust the 3D table. I am GUESSING that the Toyota Altezza (IS200 in UK) will be the same, or near as? If anyone's interested, hardwiring the mod was simple enough, just 2 extra wires from the triggers to coils 3 and 4 back into the cabin (i also used an extra 2 pin plug in line to make removal of the coils easier), remove the Fuel pump and BOTH A/C fan wires. Then pop the new wires into their place, move the High speed A/C and fuel pump wires to Ign 6 and 7 with the low speed A/C fan taped up out of the way. Then a quick change in PCLink to change Ign 3 and 4 to 'IGNITION' (or it won't display correctly when you change the mode from 'wasted' to 'direct' spark), then program 6 and 7 for the fuel pump and engine fan 3 respectively. Under 'ignition main' change 'wasted' to 'direct' [a.k.a sequential] spark and she's a runner! The last job will be adjusting the above table...... followed by reconfirming the base timing if my light will pick up the coilpack. If someone could post up the data sheet for the above, it would be really appreciated!
