  1. Hi all, I've purchased my ECU and 2x XS looms to wire in the following (sparky will be doing the wiring, i'm just making sure i give him all the materials to to the job) 6x LS1 coils boost Solenoid Fuel pressure sensor After doing as much research as i can, i seem to think i have run out of aux outputs and can only choose either boost solenoid or fuel pressure. Have i missed something? Also, what is the below connector (highlighted yellow)? Listed under 'additional sensors'. Thanks in advance, Adam (from Melbourne)
  2. Hello guys, i have problem with my tps when I changed my throttle and I have set the tps sensor again, it reads before I start the car but when I start it, the tps doesn’t work and doesn’t read , it starts only when I put my foot to the gas , when I take it off the car dies , and I don’t know why , please help me
  3. Hi I am wanting to to use this ECU Master Can Switch Board in conjunction with a Link G4+ Fury ECU. switchboardManual.pdf Will the messages sent by it be able to be read by the ECU. I am wanting to use it for pitlane limiter, traction control disable, ALS, launch control, etc with rotary potentiometers to adjust boost levels, traction control slip, DBW sensitivity, etc.
  4. Hi all, I have a 1999 Nissan Silvia S15 (SR20det) and I will be installing a LinkECU G4+ plugin ECU in a couple of months. I'd like to run a IAT Sensor however im unsure which one would appropriate based on the options available on the LinkEcu website. http://dealers.linkecu.com/IAT1-8_2 Or... http://dealers.linkecu.com/IATB_2 Any ideas? As for wiring, could I use the MAF sensor wiring? alternatively what would be the best way to wire it all up to the ecu? I do have the XL loom (As im also running: oil temp, oil pressure fuel pressure). Dane
  5. Hey Guys, currently running a 7PSI Spring in my external wastegate and have purchased an aditional 5PSI spring i'd like to add. My tuner is no longer available and im not sure what I need to change in PCLink in regards to my boost solenoid (or anything else for that matter) to warrant the increase of boost to 12PSI. Can anyone shed some light? 99 Nissan Silvia S15 G4+ plug in
  6. So I'm currently wiring in a g4+ extreme into a jza80 / jzx110 1jzgte. The easy stuff is done. Power in Ground Earths Injectors Sensors Vvti I have a few questions regarding different subjects. 1.The only wire I can find for a/c is a/c lock out? 2.I currently have standard coils with the original ignitor. How is this wired into the extreme? 3.the charge light needs to be connected to 14v to allow the system to charge is it best connected to the link ecu 14v? 4.can I run an external boost /coolant gauge as outputs from link? Last question does anyone know what this is? It's connected to cam, crank and o2 sensors @Adamw @Simon
  7. Hello guys I’m wondering if i can use g4+ PCLINK to tune my G4 storm ecu thanks
  8. Hi! I just installed the EvoLink in my Evo 3. Car is basically stock, fuel pump is a bit bigger (Walbro 255). I took it to dyno for tuning, and tuner said that the ignition values in the table are going crazy high and make no sense. We made sure that the ignition timing is fine. We were able to take the values higher and higher and more kW just kept coming, but then we just ran out of courage to put higher values in there and left it in 274 horsepowers, which is basically stock. Are these normal ignition values in Link? Is this somekind of feature in Link or did we miss a table or something? Any information would be highly appreciated, I also have the whole map if needed.
  9. Hello, Here is the tune file for my 2003 MINI Cooper S that I race in GTS with NASA (National Auto Sport Association) and BMW Club Racing. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JVhjpeVhWHSubJpOya5x56rsSomkDuUw/view?usp=sharing It is a stock MINI engine with 50 thousands over 9.3 to 1 compression pistons. Stock cam advanced 10 degrees on a Endyn big valve head. The SC is running the stock pulley producing 10 psi of boost max. It is a power to weight class so we attempt to get a flat HP curve, thus the unusually timing curve. Questions / Suggestions welcome. I am the tuner and still learning. Alan
  10. Hey guys I’m new to this link ecu set up, trying to in put injector information about my injectors but not really having any luck. Dose any one have the Fuel Main, Injector Set, Injector Short Pulse Width Adder Table filled out with 60lb/h Siemens Deka injectors?
  11. Hi, having a problem with my 1,8t AEB, I'm not gjetting spark on cyl 3 when I crank, but when I run ignition test it works fine. Have tried a new cps, no change. New plug, New coil, checked wiring to coils and cps, all good. Car ran for 20 hrs before it stopped firing on cyl 3. The engine does not get any spark when I disconnect the cps. Any ideas? Uploaded an image of my trigger scope.

    BMWLINK CAN BUS

Hello, so let me first say, first time building a turbo car here, first standalone, and first time ever even hearing of CAN systems. I’ve done a decent amount of research, good amount of thread hunting here, but haven’t found the answer. Car is a 1995 bmw m3 s50b30 us spec. I have a plug and play g4+ ecu. Car is obd1 so I’m not sure if it has a CAN system? I have AEM x-series wideband, boost, and CAN guage, and I’m trying to tie the wideband and boost guage into the ecu CAN system, but The manual doesn’t show any CAN inputs. I’ve learned the “bus” theory, so would buying the CAN expansion harness and then tieing the gauges into the CAN +/- wires? Or do they need to go to inputs? I know the boost and wideband CAN wires are optional and don’t need to go to the ecu, so not the end of the world if I can’t integrate them with the ecu, but I’d really like to figure this CANBUS thing out. I would like to use the AEMNET CAN guage to look at water temps and oil temps and pressure, but I do not know if my cars factory sensors will communicate with the CAN out of the ecu to the guage. I haven’t hooked the ecu up to power yet because I’m lost on wiring all of this stuff up. I hope I don’t sound COMPLETELY new, but like I said I’m new here. Thank you for any help, Barrett.
  13. I have link monsoon with 4 bar map internal sensor , i have a problem with its readings , it reads on idle 4.4 psi and when i start to move it increases to 17 psi , btw my boost solonoid adjusted to max 12 psi, 1- I’m connecting a seprated vacum line direct from the intake manifold to the ecu 2- calibrated on zero rpm 3- connecting on analogue volt 5 thanks in advance :)
  14. Hi I am currently converting my distributor style to coil on plug and wanting to control trigger inputs through a 12 tooth crank wheel with a hall effect sensor and a single pulse cam position with a hall effect sensor. Just wanting to know what the pinout is for both trigger one and trigger 2
  15. Hey Guys, I have a 1999 Nissan Silvia S15 Spec R and I will be running an NS15+ Plugin ECU. Im considering these Sensors for my Fuel and Oil Pressure, will they work? I dont see why not but I thought I'd ask here first. https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.trademe.co.nz%2Ftrade-me-motors%2Fcar-parts-accessories%2Fperformance%2Fgauges%2Fauction-1707160440.htm&h=AT3eGdJKD0uZLiYzPtH6HaW1mNSWp8vLT_9vz4nMJkCviy23UcgTko8K9zN5tRp8k8ZGDc8K5oDxSDZgQpXac1Q9k4tTavj-OD4GEQ85p75nohVlgx7qalSxm4YdCglLvKs Cheers! 16. Hey guys, im fairly new to the turbo game and I just bought a G4+ Plugin (Being shipped as I type) and I had a couple of questions I was hoping someone could answer for me. Id like to use the Electronic boost controller function of the G4+, Just not entirely sure what I need to buy on top of the ECU, would a new boost solenoid be essential? In cabin adjustment would be great! Would I also benefit from a wide-band 02 Sensor? or is there a more reliable sensor setup I could integrate with the G4+? Cheers again for the help, Dane
  17. Hi there I have some throttle map issues i would like looking an by an expert to see if they look correct. My car got mapped around 3 months ago, its a 3uzfe 4.3L Lexus V8 on Link G4+ extreme using factory lexus e-throttle controlled by the Link. I've never been entirely happy with happy the throttle was mapped as for example, if i wanted to go wide open throttle, i never felt like the pedal needed to go past 75% as it already felt like wide open throttle, but i persevered and learned to use it that way. 3 days ago i had my first drift day, and i kept getting throttle faults and my e throttle relay would shut down all together, unfortunately being stranded in the middle of the track i didn't save / memorise the codes, and didn't take a data log either! I took my car back to my tuner yesterday and asked him to have a look through my throttle map as i presumed something was wrong, he made a few changes and made it 100times worse, so i've sort of lost my faith with his throttle mapping capabilities.. So, long story short, i took the car away, got my laptop out, went down a long country lane and played with my PIDS and throttle map tables until i felt like i had the pedal i should have, and so far no faults either which is good The first map i've attached is my tuners throttle map (MGT map, agg throttle) , the second is my own throttle map (MGT map, self tuned throttle target good) Can someone look at the 10% AP and 20%AP range and tell me if what hes done is stupid or am i not reading it correctly.. It progressively opens the actually throttle body as RPM increases, but not as AP position increases... basically meaning the car would accelerate without actually adding any more throttle pedal position?! that seems daft.. so the second map is my own attempt at a throttle target table and the pedal feels how you would expect when driving a car Many thanks for looking, any feedback would be great! 18. Hey guys I've just been searching on this and can't seem to find my answer... I have been road tuning with my KnockBlock G4+ unit, which is great, but I just noticed that the KnockBlock tech specs say that I can use the output for knock sensor freq output in PCLink which would make life so much easier given that I also have a KnockLink hooked up that I watch very closely The ECU I am using on this particular car is a Monsoon, which appears to have a 0-5V analogue input available for knock but I can't seem to find any data on what the audio output from the KnockBlock is... or whether I can in fact just wire a 3.5mm audio jack from the output straight into the ECU? Cheers and happy Friday! Tim
  19. I have been doing research and I can't find anything on it. So I need to figure out how to wire an aem wideband 02 in my link g4+ ecu to make it a closed loop. I honestly don't know squat about wiring. I was talking to my tuner and he was telling me that I needed to find an open av port. I'm telling myself that I have no idea what that is. The vehicle that I own and am working on is a 2004 evo. I have been searching for hours and I am just stumped. The videos that I have seen don't do justice either. I just really need help with this. Thank you for your time on reading this.

    G4+ monsoon

Hello, my first post, Im interested to get the link ecu g4+ monsoon from local dealer. My concern is, one dealer said that the link ecu product mentioned are not compatible with my car as my car is automatic transmission as it will mess with gear shifting, while another dealer said it is compatible. Appreciate for any answer on this matter before i jump to either link ecu or other alternatives. My car is Honda Accord euro cl7 2.0 AT 2005. (K20a6) Mods: RBC intake Planned mods before ecu tuning : k24 swap Thanks, Regards Luke
  21. Hi all, I've just started looking into tuning with my G4+. This is my first shot at tuning and the car will almost exclusively be driven on the street. I've been slowly working my way around various functions and getting a feel for what they do and how my car responds. I've been gradually going through some of the HP Academy webinars but still feel like quite a noob! A few details about the car. - 98RON Petrol exclusively. - Walbro 255 fuel pump - CT26/GT35 hybrid (yes I know....) - 540cc Toyota injectors - 3SGE (NA) cams - 1ZZ COPs via an external converter box (Was operating this way on the factory ECU. Will be wired directly eventually) - High flow CAT I'm after any advice on the particular setup, but in particular I'm looking at some help trying to narrow down a low rpm hesitation. It feels like I have very little torque around 1000-2500 rpm. This has pretty much always been the case with the factory ECU and the stupidly oversized/restricted turbo in it, but this I think still comes down to tuning. There are probably a whole heap of things that need to be changed on the attached map. Some may have been tweaked in isolation. Also, does anyone know if the 3SGTE factory knock sensor is able to be setup in the PnP G4+? low_rpm_stutter_3.llg MR2_Modified_Tune_v3.pclr
  22. Hi all I have my 3uzfe running off the 1uz vvti basemap on my link G4+ xtreme but its running pretty rich at the moment. I'm going to be converting to MAP and wideband before i take it to my tuner, but for now i am just running MAF and narrowband. Is there anything i can do to lean it out abit? I just want to be able to run in up to temperature and make sure everythings okay before i take it to the dyno as its quite a long drive to get there and don't want to have any problems, but its super smokey and rich. I've uploaded my basemap with a log of it running for around 30 seconds. I will be doing MAP conversion and Link can lambda in the next month. Many thanks Rich running map.llg Rich running map 3uz.pclr

    Coil Fail

Hi I purchased a G4+ Altezza Link for my 2000 Altezza RS200. My tuner fitted the Link then went to run the car on the dyno but the car blew two coils. Any ideas on why this would happen? cheers Paul
  24. Hi all I have a 3uzfe running with a G4+ xtreme. I was originally going to run narrowband lambda and maf (factory setup) just for reliable n/a power until i supercharge later on down the line. I'm going to be taking my car to my tuner in the next month or so and figured i may aswell convert to wideband for easier and better tuning for them. Is it just a case of getting 2 bosch LSU 4.9 wideband sensors, one for each bank. I already have my narrowbands wired up so should just be plug and play with wideband sensors i guess? And are those bosch sensors the ones to go for? Any recommendations? Also, i'm running maf at the moment, would converting to map be a better option for n/a tuning, would it be more accurate? I need to go map in the future for charging, so again, may aswell do it now Thanks
