  1. Hello there, I am still working on my Carisma GDI Turbo. I was at the dyno again today, and well… My Lambda needed some correction ( I was nearly at 0.7 A/F Ratio during higher load). But even after correction, the engine is not performing verry well. Coud any of you look over my ignition Timing? The engine got 12:1 compression, 5psi of slight boost, and I got massive pover loss over 3500 rpm, the boost pressure is stable. Maybe my ignition timing is set to late…?   2. Hi! I just installed the EvoLink in my Evo 3. Car is basically stock, fuel pump is a bit bigger (Walbro 255). I took it to dyno for tuning, and tuner said that the ignition values in the table are going crazy high and make no sense. We made sure that the ignition timing is fine. We were able to take the values higher and higher and more kW just kept coming, but then we just ran out of courage to put higher values in there and left it in 274 horsepowers, which is basically stock. Are these normal ignition values in Link? Is this somekind of feature in Link or did we miss a table or something? Any information would be highly appreciated, I also have the whole map if needed.
  3. Hi I am currently converting my distributor style to coil on plug and wanting to control trigger inputs through a 12 tooth crank wheel with a hall effect sensor and a single pulse cam position with a hall effect sensor. Just wanting to know what the pinout is for both trigger one and trigger 2
  4. i have a suzuki swift gti 1300 1991 year and we put distrubtor of a toyota starlet gt that have sensor for camshaft and crank sensor. when we try to ignition lock and make the correct degrees i lock it, when i try to start the car again the degrees changes alone without doing anything and everytime the degrees changes and not the same way...one time alot other time less
  5. I've got an FD rx7 with a PNP g4+ ecu and I'm struggling to find which ignition channel correlates to which spark plug. I have the following information of the stock configuration but need to know which between IGN 1 and IGN 4 which one is Leading Front and Leading Rear. I would assume Ignition 4 automatically becomes Leading rear? But dont want to risk any engine damage. IGN 1 = Leading Plugs (Pin 4AN IGN 2 = Trailing Rear (Pin 4AJ) IGN 3 = Trailing Front (Pin 4AF) IGN 4 = AC Clutch (is now wired to coilpack 4 for direct fire) (Pin 4i) IGN 5 = Expansion Loom set to AC Clutch. Hopefully someone can help or can give me an idea on how to figure it out myself!
  6. Hi there I have 96 JDM 2L Subaru engine that I am trying to tune. Was wondering if anyone could give me a hand with my ignition map. I’ve tuned cars before but I don’t feel comfortable playing with the ignition map on this car cause I don’t have a knock sensor. So I was wondering if anyone with a similar setup as me could help setup a slightly conservative ignition map for my setup. I have a GTX 3582 turbo on a EJ20 with 850 cc injectors. My fuel table is pretty good I just need help with the ignition table. I’m willing to pay for someones time as well just let me know. Attached is a image of what I am running now.
  7. More then 10 with Link ECUs with difference engines/cars. Size of fuel and ignition main tables 22x20 cells are too small, especially number of rows for high boost engine. In case of multi target boost levels, 20 rows are concentrate to boost levels, thus 2-5 rows in vacuum for constant speed and relax drive are not perfect. Haltech elite is often compare with Link which Haltech's table size is 32x32. If the new firmware is concentrate on fuel and ignition table size, Link ecu will be no competitor and closed to the best Ecu in market.

  9. I seem to not be developing full power in my spark plugs and getting a decent spark. The engine is a EG33, with a separate igniter that does 6 coils and has coils on each head. What is the correct way to set up the ECU for this kind of ignition system? Attached is the current setup Tony

  11. I'm in the process of converting the stock 4G63 wasted spark coils to direct spark COP setup and appear to have hit a speed bump. I've just gone into the manual and PCLink software and it appears that to run sequential ignition you need to align the output with the firing order (IGN OP 1 to Spark 1, 2 to 2, 3 to 3, 4 to 4, etc)? The issue I have is that ignition outputs 3, 4 and 5 on the EvoLink IX PNP are already used for other functions; fuel pump, A/C Fan, and NB heater respectively. Coincidentally, ignition outputs 6 and 7 are available (both physically unwired) therefore making them ideal to use for a mini loom to control sparks 3 and 4- but I don't believe I can program them for this??? Is this a software limitation (that could be changed in PCLink/ firmware), or is it a hardware limitation of the ECU? I am reluctant to start moving pins about within the stock ECU plugs, hence the query.
