Hi Guys, i have a 2JZ-GTE swapped Altezza running a Link G4+ Fury and i am looking to run an MR2 electric power steering pump. i have talked to my certifier and he will not allow it to be directly plugged into a power supply as it must go through a 'controller' so that the pump is in a 'controlled environment'. which after some reading is it possible to use my Fury to control this in any way? obviously my gearbox speed sensor is plugged into the ecu aswell as my seperate sensors on my wheels, would the link fury pick this up and be able to control the pump? hopefully this helps. I am looking for some guidance. I am putting a 2GR-FE in a MR2 and turbo'ing it. I have the Link G4+ Fury. I am starting to lay out the wires but am wondering the best way to combine the power for things like the Coils and Injectors. The same for a lot of grounds. Is it common to run power to INJ 1 then jump it to the next one and so on. For reference I have labeled the cylinders by their firing order which is with the cam gear on the right, back left is Cyl 1 Front left is Cyl 2 back middle is 3 and so on. I believe firing order is 1,2,3,4,5,6 with the labeling as I mentioned. Same question for the 5V items like sensors and DBW TB. Thanks for the help.
I'm reading through the manual and I'm unsure if i need to power the +14 on the b connector. As the ecu was given to me I don't know what firmware its got to select the correct pc link software [ Board Rev 1.2 Serial #15929 ] Also when i connect it to the computer its unrecognised by the computer and doesn't try to install drives like the manual says. Can not update firmware as the program can't find the ecu I don't know any history on it and don't even know if its working Any help would be great, i just want to see if its working Cheers
