Luis Lopez Posted August 24, 2019 Report Share Posted August 24, 2019 Hi guys I have an issue with my evo 8 usdm when the car is decelerating and it’s reaching 2500rpms and less it starts bouncing( or stalling) like the injectors are off and on off and on. And I was looking if this ecu had an decel cut off option but I don’t see it. Does it have another name? Or do you use the fuel table in vacuum? cj Posted August 25, 2019 Report Share Posted August 25, 2019 What you are looking for is "overrun fuel cut" in the fuel menu. It would be slightly weird for it to only cut in below 2500rpm though. Can you please post your log & map? Best bet you have one of the idle control systems kicking in at 2500 and its trying to drag rpm down to idle level very quickly. motomattx Posted August 29, 2019 Report Share Posted August 29, 2019 In my experience a lot of the 4g63's do this, your likely in too high of a gear and are lugging the engine especially if you have aftermarket cams in it, I use overrun fuel cut as mentioned to make them stop doing that.
