matt_297
Hi guys, Probably been asked before but a search didn't find anything solid. I have a brand new X series 30-0300 gauge and want to know instead of using the analogue input to the G4, can I use the X series' CAN H and L, and wire it to the CAN pins on the G4? If so, is it as simple as wiring the matching AEM wires to the same on the CAN/RS connector of the G4 (PIN 2 and 3) Attached photos of the AEM and G4. Cheers, Matt

You need to configure the CAN settings also. There is a set up guide for the X series in the help file under G4+ ECU Tuning Functions > CAN > Device Specific CAN Information Pinout for the CAN socket in the help file is not as clear as it could be as there is no indication of which pin is #1, so below is a pic to help. matt_297
Thanks Adam. I thought it might be, but it sounded too simple so i thought id ask! Also, it has the pin number listed in the booklet thankfully. New to Link stuff so expect many more questions!
