Robert B. Cope
I have a 1999 SC400 w/ 1UZ VVTI motor. Recently installed a Link G4+ Xtreme ECU in it. No real issues there, car runs great so far. I have been struggling with getting the knock sensor set up, though. I'm getting data, but it is too loud. Even with gain set to "1", normal acceleration is spiking over the "1000" threshold. Before I start looking at alternative knock sensors and other "hardware" solutions, is there anything I might try in software? Right now it is setup to look at 6Hz signals; I was thinking about trying 5Hz or 7Hz just to see what the data looks like. Sorry if this is a stupid question. Richard Hill
what are your cylinder knock gains set to (under cyl setup) ?

I tried setting them to .5, thinking that would give me room, but then the "meter" capped out at 500. They're back to 1.0 now.
