Mikemteck Posted October 16, 2019 Report Share Posted October 16, 2019 I have just fitted a sequential gearbox to a Skyline. And would like to use flatshift. But only have the rotary gearbox pot. First of all can this be done. Can someone overlook the changes I have made to the map to enable this. Thanks for any help. Sorry for the vagueness. Adamw Posted October 17, 2019 Report Share Posted October 17, 2019 Yes you can use barrel position as both the start cut and end cut. It is probably not going to work as good as a strain gauge since you dont have much control over the initial mechanical preload using this method but it will still work.
