Tonni
I have a question regarding wiring and setting up a wasted spark setup using a dualpost ignition coil. I'm using the G4 storm ecu on a gen4 3sgte from a caldina. I have a ford style /bosch dualpost coil wired to ign1 and ign2 outputs. I have the ign coil wired directly to the ecu outputs but cant get it to start. Do i need a 2 channel ignitter between them or schould it work without one? It is a 1-3-4-2 firing order and i wired ign1 to cyl1-4 and ign2 to cyl2-3 Also any suggestions on coil dwell? I have set them to 2,5 at 14v and about 3,5 at 12v. Adamw
Yes that is a non-amplified coil, you will need a 2ch ignitor to drive it. Dwell sounds like a reasonable starting point.
