Dear Mate,

I would like to connect Link Strada 1.2 to Linkecu Civic 95+. I know it need to connect to Can H and Can L of the dash. And I saw the loom will including 120 ohm resistor. May I know is it necessary and where I need to put? parallel or serial on loom? Can H or Can L?

Since I cannot found any documents mention that.

Thanks in advance.

Jacky

Are you sure the alternator light is a ground?  In most cars this is a 12V signal from the dash lamp to the exciter pin on the alternator.

In any case, these two documents will probably cover both options:

Do you mean that with the dash unplugged, you dont get a speed reading at all on whatever DI is configured as vehicle speed, or do you mean that the MXS dash doesnt show vehicle speed?

On those late 90's civics the VSS is wired straight to the ECU  (and tee'd to the dash) so the ECU should still see DI frequency input with the dash disconnected. Normally the ECU would be providing the pullup voltage but maybe its coming from the dash in your case - have you got pullup set to on for the speed input DI?
