Heathw
Hi all, I’m new to the scene and keen to learn a bit more. I have a Link G4+ Monsoon ECU that was professionally installed on my turbo starlet. My car did not come with a tacho from the factory. I have since replaced the factory instrument cluster with one that has a tacho and require an rpm signal. I’ve had a look at the wiring and am reluctant to hack up the harness to pickup the cam angle sensor. Is it an option to programme one of the spare outputs to provide this signal and connect into this? If so, what’s generally involved? Thanks in advance
cj
Yep, find any free aux output & set the config to "tacho". This will output a square wave signal that will drive most modern (post ~1990) tachos
